In this episode, Ian McCormack explains baptism in water clearly from Scripture. You’ll hear why baptism does not save you—grace and the cleansing blood of Jesus are the foundation. Then you’ll discover baptism’s purpose: a public sign of repentance, death to sin, and rising into new life with Christ, united with Him as taught in Romans 6. Ian also walks through John the Baptist’s baptism in the Jordan, and Jesus’ own baptism—showing obedience, identification with people, and the Spirit’s anointing as heaven’s voice declares Him beloved.
