Speaker 2: All right, welcome everybody to the Charlie Kirk Show. It is July twenty seventh, twenty twenty six. Honored to be with you all. Blake is on assignment today, so I'm gonna be holding it down solo. Excited to be with everybody at the y Refi Studios remote edition, of course, and Blake does not get to steal my mic flag today, which I'm very excited about. Nevertheless, he'll be back, I believe on Wednesday. So today and tomorrow it will just be me. We have a great show in store for you. We've got Mark Halprin on at twelve thirty Eastern. We're gonna be talking about the primary schedule for the Democrats, what it reveals. We're gonna be talking about jd Vance in the proxy war that seems to be emerging around his potential candidacy in twenty twenty eight. We've got Jay Feely who is running for Congress and he just won his primary out of CD one in Arizona. He's a great, great candidate. Excited to get behind him all the way. And then we've got Rich Barris Polster extraordinaire to finish us out at one thirty. Some headwinds we got to deal with and see what we can do to fix them in head of November. So that's a big start. I want to begin the show, however, talking about DSA. There was some revealing clips that came out over the weekend of the people that run the Democrats Socialists of America party platform and what they actually believe. And I want to explain where this is coming from. And there's a clip that we never played on the show from Secretary Marco Rubio that I think is just so prescient. It is so important that you really internalize what he's saying in this clip because I think it's fundamentally accurate. Now Marco, of course, you know, without weighing into the horse race on the Republican side ahead of twenty twenty eight, Marco is one of the most eloquent communicators when it comes to the issue of socialism and Marxism. Part of that obviously comes from his background, his proximity to Cuba, his own Cuban heritage, and understanding that dynamic extraordinarily. Well, it's not been something that's snuck up on Marco Rubio. He's been thinking deeply about this problem, and what he has perceived is the rise of this ideology in the United States for a long time, and therefore he is a great tip of the spear when it comes to countering it. So this was a speech that Secretary of Rubio gave on July fifteenth. Again, we didn't play the clip. Then. It bears repeating, though, that this is one of the most eloquent defenses of the capitalist system, of the American Way, and against Marxism and socialism. So let's play the clips Sop. Fourteen.
00:03:57
Speaker 3: This is a distinctive and unique evil. It has always been driven by a hatred above all else, a hatred for civilization itself. It is a revolt of the worst against the best, a revolt of the weak and the cowardly against the strong and the good. It is perpetrated by those who cannot build, who cannot create, who cannot achieve great things, and take their revenge upon the world for their own inadequacy by seeking to destroy those who can. This is what radical leftism is. It may wear various different slogans and ideologies across place and time, but the fundamental character is always the same. It's always the same it is a poisonous resentment cloaked in the language of equality and justice and liberation and overwhelming need to tear down what greater men have built.
00:04:51
Speaker 2: A poisonous resentment. And that's exactly right. And it is a flattening of everything. He goes on in this speech to say that it makes everything low and gray. You lose every exceptional characteristic of the human soul. And ultimately that is what has made America so powerful, so amazing, so exceptional, so rich, so innovative, so pioneering. In the DSA, this rise that you're seeing, now that we hear that over a majority of Democrats have a favorable view of socialism in this country, we must address it. And this was just from this weekend. DSA co chair Megan Romer confirms that their party platform includes a host of terrifying planks. It is a terrifying potential reality that we must take seriously tot seven.
00:05:48
Speaker 4: So we're going to put up on the screen a few of the things that are part of your platform, and I want to ask you just give me sort of a true false on these. Abolish the Senate true okay, replace the Presidency and Supreme Court, as we now know them.
00:06:03
Speaker 5: Yep.
00:06:04
Speaker 4: Abolish Ice. Absolutely, abolish borders, and give amnesty to anyone currently in the US illegally.
00:06:13
Speaker 6: As a long term plan.
00:06:14
Speaker 7: Yep.
00:06:15
Speaker 4: Defund the Pentagon. Absolutely, abolish prisons, at least in large part.
00:06:23
Speaker 6: Yeah again that as part of a long term program.
00:06:26
Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, so no prisons, government or public ownership of most large corporations.
00:06:33
Speaker 8: Yeah.
00:06:33
Speaker 2: Absolutely, they want to abolish prisons, defund the Pentagon, abolish Ice, destroy the Senate. Their vision for America, their idea of what to do with it is simply to destroy it. Whatever ideology that is undergirding their entire policy platform is exactly what Secretary of Rubio articulated just moments ago. Is poisonous resentment masked is virtuism. It is a terrifying potentiality for this country. And it's not just her. She's not just some exception to the rule. No, she is articulating what they believe. I have proof. There's another DSA co chair, Ashikh Sadik quite the name, that basically says, yeah, this is exactly what we believe. She's not the outlier here. What you just heard, this is mainstream within the DSA, which is now becoming mainstream within the Democrat Party. Top five.
00:07:36
Speaker 9: We just don't see the point of the Senate. Historically, it was meant to serve very wealthy people who owned a lot of land, and that's still a system that we have today, and it's something we would change. We would expand what the House of Representatives does and make it more actually representative of people who who live.
00:07:58
Speaker 7: In this country.
00:07:58
Speaker 2: So would you like to abolish the.
00:08:01
Speaker 9: That's part of our platform, and we don't think that's extreme. We think it's a change that would help make this country more democratic.
00:08:09
Speaker 2: So the extremists are taking over the Democrat Party. What do you plan to do if you defund the Pentagon? How are you going to protect yourself in a world full of terrorists and people that wish ill on this country? What are you gonna do without prisons? Evil is real. We see this in almost every single blue jurisdiction around the country. They don't believe in cash bail, so they just let everybody out. They maim and murder and rape and pillage and terrorize local communities. You are more likely to be put in harm's way in a blue jurisdiction simply because they refuse to lock people up, what are they going to do? They believe in a nirvana. They believe in a utopian idea that is terrifying that people aren't innately full of sin. We as Christians understand that the sin nature leads people to do bad things and that we need to be redeemed and the state needs to step in and protect us at times. Their vision for the future of this country is anarchy. Let me ask you a question, when was the last time, if ever, you got a second opinion on your mortgage or if you're renting, have you ever wondered if owning a home might be more within your reach than you think. The truth is a lot has changed over the last few years. Home values have changed, interest rates have changed, lending programs have changed. Even your financial goals may have changed. What made sense then may not be the best option today. Here's what I see all the time. Homeowners often assume their current mortgage is the best they can do, while renters assume home ownership is out of reach. In many cases, neither is true. That's why I recommend talking to Andrew and Todd at Union Home Mortgage. If you already own a home, they'll provide a complimentary mortgage review to see if there are opportunities to lower your payment, eliminate mortgage insurance, consolidate debt, access equity, shorten your term, or simply determine whether staying exactly where you are is the smartest move. If you're renting, they'll help you understand what it really takes to become a homeowner. You may be surprised to learn that buying a home could be more affordable than you think. They'll explain the programs available, answer your question, and guide you every step of the way. We love these guys. No pressure, no obligations, no sales pitch, just honest advice tailored to your goals. 00:10:49
Speaker 10: Socialists winning Democratic primaries candidates from the far left, and look at this here among Democrats, this is that fox pool a majority have a favorable view of socialism. Death Outside the Democratic Party, it's a totally different world. Look at independence. Socialism deeply unpopular there. So is that a vulnerability for Democrats that would keep them from capitalizing on Trump's obvious weaknesses.
00:11:12
Speaker 2: Here, Democratic socialism is now the majority position within the Democrat Party. Okay, the problem that Democrats are going to face is that with independence only, it's like fifteen to twenty percent have a favorable view of it. Seventy seven percent do not like socialism. They have an unfavorable view of socialism. So that's going to be something that plays into our politics, at least in the short term. Hopefully that trend continues. Hopefully independence which is a growing portion of the population. People don't want to be affiliated necessarily with a political party as much as they did in the past, understandably, so both parties let us down all the time. So that's going to play into our politics in a major way. Now, this is the offer of socialism. I think may Or my Donnie presents the flowery language, the promises of free stuff. We call it free stuff populism. It was where this was gonna go inevitably, and Charlie knew this. This is Mayor mom Donnie talking about his grocery store idea. Here you go, it'st nineteen.
00:12:18
Speaker 7: Here's how it will work.
00:12:20
Speaker 8: Once a month, our five city run grocery stores will set prices for this core set of goods at thirty percent below typical retail prices, no exceptions, no gimmicks. The savings will last for the entire month.
00:12:33
Speaker 2: All right, So he's gonna give you cheaper stuff, government funded stuff. By the way, he's now going to tax New Yorkers if they have a second home that they use as a vacation place. He's bragging about it. So he's going to force all the capital to flee New York. But he's still going to promise all these free goodies based on a depleted income base, a tax base that's getting smaller, not large, Because that's what happens in socialism. Smart people, productive people, the great people, the people that built this country and that continue to make it thrive and to continue to make it rich. They will flee to red states where they don't have to put up with this garbage. But they don't really talk about that, do they. But again, I go back to Marco Rubio. This is a man who thought long and hard about socialism because of his Cuban background, and he points out why it sounds good, but why it's really really bad. It will rob you of your freedoms to sixteen.
00:13:33
Speaker 3: Democratic socialism sounds benign, but at the core of democratic socialism is Marxism, and at the core of Marxism is this fake offer that if you turn over more of your individual freedom, we're gonna provide you security, We're gonna provide you free healthcare, we're gonna provide you free education. But the problem is that when they can't deliver on it, or when you're not happy with it, you don't get your freedoms back. And by freedoms, I don't just mean elections. I'm talking about the right to choose your own doctor, to make health care decisions for yourself, what your kids learn in school, what schools they go to, all that stuff you lose control over, and you don't get it back just because the security they promised you didn't happen.
00:14:11
Speaker 11: So that's what we're on.
00:14:12
Speaker 3: The Vergin having to decide here in this country. It's the reason why people flee countries that have this stuff. It's a big deal for America, and I hope people start waking up to that reality.
00:14:21
Speaker 2: That's exactly right. So they promise you free health care, they promise you free schooling. They promise you all of these things, but when they fail to deliver a superior product, you lose that freedom once you give it over to them, to have any choice, to have any selection, to be able to determine where your kid goes to school, what they learn, to determine what kind of goods and services you're able to buy. That is ultimately the endpoint for Marxism. That's why when you go to a grocery store in Cuba or a grocery store in Russia, the options are very limited. And if you don't like it too bad, you don't get any other options. You don't get it to select something that's superior, because it's a flattening. It's a permanent state of gray and lowness. In Meanwhile, the tax base is Fellanda, Florida, Mom, Donnie. But here's the kicker, and this is what we need to know. And by the way, AOC they just did a New Hampshire primary poll at breaking news. HEOC is in first place in New Hampshire. She is a Democrat Socialist and she is leading the presidential primary polling for Democrats in New Hampshire. So this is coming to a community near you. Very very soon. It's you need to wake up to how urgent the need is. But Charlie understood this. He understood that we are on a race against the clock as conservatives. Our ideas must prevail and they must be successful soon and very soon, or else More and more young people with the affordability crisis, the housing crisis, not being able to forward, to start a family and get married. That problem will cause radical politics to emerge in this country. And it's already doing it, and Charlie knew it. It's not twenty Look, you have two options.
00:16:12
Speaker 1: You can go Maga or Maggionism. You can go Maga, or you can go mam Donnism. You can go Maga, or you can know Muhammedism. It's very funny how all the ms. Maga is the only option on the right. Neo conservators are not coming back the corporate oligarchs. We're not gonna let happen. So Maga has cemented the worldview of the American right. But the left, we don't know. It. Could go Maggioni, which is the most extreme. You could go Mamdani, which is very very extreme, or you go Mohammedi Muhammedism, which is just you know, Muslim Islamic takeover. You get reform or you get revolution. We at MAGA want to reform stuff political undercurrent underneath MAGGIONI that cannot be ignored, that should not be dismissed, and that political reality is that is on the American left.
00:17:00
Speaker 2: Very prescient from Charlie. We have two options ahead of US, reform or revolution. So hope we get it right. All right, without further ado, we have the great Mark Halprint, editor in chief of Two Way TV and host of Next Up on the Megan Kelly Network. Mark, welcome back to the show. It's great to have you, and there's no Blake today. You just get me, so I apologize or you're welcome, depending on how you say things. Mark, There's two things I want to talk about. I want to talk about JD because you went viral for a clip explaining kind of what the dynamic is, okay. And I want to talk about Democrat primaries because it's already heating up ahead of twenty twenty eight, so let's start there. Let's start with the Democrat primaries. There was a poll that came out out of New Hampshire that had AOC leading and there was an open question are the Democrats going to start with New Hampshire, They're going to start with South Carolina, or they're going to start with Nevada. All had different tactical decisions behind them, but it's just a very very interesting glance and insight into the inner workings of the Democrat operation, the establishment. I would play a little clip at AOC reacting to being on top of the New Hampshire Democratic primaries early days, but it's still noteworthy sought for.
00:18:14
Speaker 7: Second of all, I don't.
00:18:15
Speaker 12: Know if you saw there's a New University New Hampshire poll showing you leading in the presidential race in New Hampshire.
00:18:21
Speaker 11: What are your thoughts about that.
00:18:22
Speaker 6: Poles are poles and a horse race as a horse race. I am, of course, I think very deeply humbled and grateful to you know, folks who participate and convey that confidence, and you know it's I'm honestly, I think my main focus is really genuinely just the midterms right now. We have to make sure that we win this majority.
00:18:49
Speaker 2: She had. She did the fake, the fake brag, the humble brag very well. There, Mark explain to our audience what the rationale for different state being picked first, and what we can surmise from the fact that South Carolina was indeed picked.
00:19:06
Speaker 12: Well, there's no way to make a calendar that doesn't favor or disadvantage some potential candidates and others. There's no equal way to do it, and there's no way to do it to pick the perfect calendar to advantage the Democratic Party.
00:19:23
Speaker 7: What's the Democratic Party's goal.
00:19:24
Speaker 12: It's to get the strongest nominee who can win a general election.
00:19:28
Speaker 7: Right. So, in the olden days before you were born, the calendar was set. It was Iowa New Hampshire, and then.
00:19:34
Speaker 12: Everything after that moved around, but it did really matter because i when New Hampshire were disproportionally influential. The Democratic Party has decided that those two states cannot go first, in large part because they're not diverse, and there's something to that. But when you take those two states out of the equation, Iowa completely at in New Hampshire going third, you're asking for trouble because you're asking for unpredictability, you're welcoming unpredictability, and you're asking voters who pay far less attention than Iowa New Hampshire voters do to make your selection. In this case, you could imagine that behind the scenes a candidate who would like to South Carolina to be first, or more than one were engaged in machinations. I see no sign of that. This is basically made because the Democratic Party wanted a state with a large percentage of the electric being black voters to go first. And so now the question is who advan who is advantaged by that? By perspective candidates, one person's clearly advantaged, as Kamala Harris. I don't know that this is good for AOC. Honestly, it could be, but it's not clear that it is.
00:20:41
Speaker 2: Yeah, I tend to see the same thing here. Mark, when they picked South Carolina, I thought it was a huge snub at New Hampshire, right where AOC is winning. But you know, it's interesting. I think the Democrat Party. We had Evan Barker on last week, Mark, and she was talking talking about her view inside the Democrat apparatus. She was a fundraiser for them, and she felt like the party in general learned the wrong lesson from the Obama years that it became instead of the message of Obama, which was sort of color blind and we're all one the Democrat Party took it into this complete I would say race to the bottom with you racial grievances, tribalism, identity politics. And it feels like that's continuing on the whole. Tribalization of the Democrat Party is who are you going to favor a white state New Hampshire, more Hispanic leading state in Nevada, or a more black leaning state in South Carolina? And that is going to have ramifications down the road. It feels like everything in the Democrat Party has become a question about those racial politics. I don't think that's a winner, Mark actually, because I think there that's going to disadvantage their stronger candidates. But Kamala Harris in AOC, Kamala is pulling down at the bottom. I think we have that New Hampshire poll here, if you guys want to throw that up, it's a let me see which number it is here? Yeah, number three? Okay, So you got AOC and this is New Hampshire. AOC's at the top, Bootage edge Mark, Kelly, Gavin Newsom, Bernie Sanders and then Kamala in New Hampshire. I haven't seen the polling in South Carolina, but we have to guess that this is I guess the real question here is Mark, are they rigging? Are they rigging it again? Is the Democrat establishment rigging the primary again for their favorite candidate? And are you hearing that Kamala has the sort of pool internally to get this type of stuff done? She is she the preferred candidate of the establishment.
00:22:45
Speaker 7: She's not at all.
00:22:46
Speaker 12: And again I believe this happened not to favor a candidate, but to put their finger on the scale, as you said, for black voters in today's Democratic Party, not even or not. It's not just the super woke. Who's say new Ham, I'm sure too white to go first. It's just too white for the party. And look there's something to that. Not only is it almost entirely white, with the exception of Manchester and Portsmouth, it doesn't really have cities.
00:23:13
Speaker 7: Right.
00:23:13
Speaker 12: So ideally, if you're trying to be fair and equitable and produced as strong as possible nominee, you want a state that is representative of the country. You want someone who and representative of the party. You want someone who can win and show some stuff. Now, if you go first, you don't necessarily have as much influence as if you go third or fourth, because if you go first, you're not going to narrow it down to one.
00:23:40
Speaker 7: You're going to narrow it down to anywhere from two to five. Okay. And so South.
00:23:44
Speaker 12: Carolina by going first, has taken away the role it had, which was basically pick the president, pick or pick the nominee. Now they're going to be in the winnowing business. And so now even if you're Pete boodhage Edge, who's not displayed very much ability to get black vote, you gotta try.
00:24:02
Speaker 7: So I think everybody's going to go to South Carolina and try.
00:24:05
Speaker 12: It's also a red state, it's not a purple state or a blue state. Some people say, well, that's not good for the party. Well, I think it is. Go compete for red voters, go compete for more conservative voters. And on paper it should defend benefit Kamala Harris, who has the strongest support amongst black voters right now. But let's see, and let's see of course even if she runs. So the answer to your first question is, as I said, I don't think this was meant to favor any candidate. It will, it will end up doing that, but I don't think that was the intention.
00:24:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's interesting. I think it comes becomes more interesting, Mark, because we are looking at a Democrat party that is so divided right now between this rising far left DSA cohort within its ranks, which really has captured so much of the grassroots energy, and the more establishment wing. I looked at the choice of South Carolina that this is a favor. This is them trying to stack the deck in favor of the more moderate wing of the party to give them a leg up as they head into that second third fourth primary. States that that was my my guess you really.
00:25:14
Speaker 12: Think that, I und Do you really think the DNC wanted to have a more moderate candidate maybe pretty liberal group.
00:25:21
Speaker 2: I mean, I think for electability in a general presidential election. Yeah, probably, But they did the same because they did the same thing with Hillary and Bernie, and they they've done the same thing against Bernie actually twice.
00:25:32
Speaker 7: So yeah, they've left, they've moved left.
00:25:34
Speaker 12: But but I'll say, if you wanted to stack it for a more establishment candidate, I don't know that this would have been the right pick. I think I think Nevada or Michigan might have been a better first choice. I really think you don't know what was in the hearts of and the minds of every every member of the committee, but I really do think the primary driver here was they wanted They wanted a state that was interested, right, not every state applies. They want to start with a smaller state, a state that's got a four to television advertising rates, a state that geographically you can get across and campaign and where the playing fields somewhat level.
00:26:08
Speaker 7: And you want you want to reward black.
00:26:10
Speaker 12: Voters because they're such a big part of the Democratic constituency. So you also run a risk if you pick a state that's never gone early before, because if you go early, there's a lot of pressure. And lastly, and I think this is probably a big reason, it's reportedly a big reason why they chose it over Nevada. You want a state that can count quickly.
00:26:34
Speaker 7: You can't.
00:26:34
Speaker 12: You can't have the first primary take so long to count the votes that the second primary is already happening, right, And and we know from the last president Nevada Nevada doesn't count very fast. You got to know in the case these rapid fire primaries every week or so, you got to know who won, like that night you can't let it go, they can't let it hang into time.
00:26:55
Speaker 2: Well, that's just I mean, so you're basically telling me California is never going to get selected because.
00:27:01
Speaker 12: That's part of the reasons. Yes, but it's also too big. Yeah, but it's also too big. I mean, California have well famous for not counting quickly. But think about the last few presidential cycles when when we've been waiting for weeks for debotity count.
00:27:15
Speaker 2: Yeah, no, exactly, it's it's way too long. Good conversation is about respect. It's how we create a space where people are able to share their ideas and be heard. Charlie knew that Turning Point still knows that, and TikTok has always strived to build the kind of place that thrives on respectful connection, where curiosity fuels connection and we can share what's on our minds and learn from each other. When ideas meet respect, good things happen. On TikTok. You can find a mechanic explaining the why behind a problem most of us wouldn't even know how to name, or a father sharing a lifetime of knowledge with his viewers. Viewers who listen discuss, and then they respond TikTok turns connection into community through small acts of understanding. You can feel it in the comments and the thank you from a stra halfway across the world. TikTok is a place where respect opens the door for discussion, and discussion helps us build something real. Mark, you went viral for this clip, so I'm gonna play the clip and then we'll go from there. This is, of course on JD. We had a whole long conversation about this last week. A lot of people clipped up our show as well. It seems like JD is the proxy right now.
00:28:25
Speaker 12: It's not to but what we're seeing now with people lashing out of Jdvent it is largely the establishment who sees, in some cases, the opportunity to break the Trump grip on the Republican Party, to go back to a Republican party that they liked before.
00:28:42
Speaker 7: And JD Vance isn't comcouing to that. He's not catering to that.
00:28:46
Speaker 12: What he did on Rogan is is that's the real JD Vance saying things other people won't say.
00:28:52
Speaker 2: Really fascinating clip there, Mark, and I thought it was so succinct. Explain this dynamic, because you know, we back In twenty sixteen, we had the never Trumpers. You know, there was the cover of the National Review and it felt like basically trump Ism and MAGA won. And there's a resurgence, and it seems like Marco and JD are that proxy battle heading into twenty twenty eight. What are the dynamics at play and what are you watching for?
00:29:21
Speaker 7: Well, you campaign with too broad a brush, right.
00:29:24
Speaker 12: Not everybody who doesn't like JD Vance or opposes him for the nomination is motivated by a desire to return to the Romney Bush McCain Republican Party.
00:29:34
Speaker 7: But some of them are.
00:29:36
Speaker 12: Some of them are, Some of them don't like his position on Israel, some of them don't like him personally. But what's beyond doubt is the level of vitriol for him is quite high, and some of it can't quantify how much, but some of it is driven by people who say Trump's a lame duc We cannot let MAGA continue to control this party.
00:29:58
Speaker 7: We have to go back.
00:29:59
Speaker 12: Whether it's is or tariffs or taxes or whatever it is, we cannot go back to a pre We have to go back to a pre Trump Republican Party. We cannot let MAGA continue to dominate the party. And it's fascinating because you know, not everybody likes what JD. Vance says, including to Joe Rogan. But but go back and look at what he said and ask yourself, did he say anything that was wrong about Israel? Did he say anything that was wrong about taxes or the economy? They may not agree with him on his position, but in terms of facts, with a few exceptions, he was spot on and and love them privately agree with what he's saying. So their distaste for MAGA, their distaste for the Trump era, I would ask them, what is it that you don't like? What is it besides Trump himself, besides his style, besides his violation of some norms, What is it that you don't like? And it's going to be fascinating to see Jdvans navigate is because since Rogan, he's largely been out of Limelake. He's just had a kid, So I'll be curious to see how he speaks about all this stuff when he comes back and starts doing interviews again.
00:31:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, it was interesting. I did sort of a very unscientific real world polling, just asking you know, friends of mine associates colleagues about some of the statements about Israel or you know, Iran the MoU. Obviously he was seen out front with the MU. And what struck me mark is just how popular and mainstream the things that he was saying have really become with a lot of people on the right. Now, when you get on X, it's a battlefield, right you, people that represent different constituencies are really vocal, really loud. They're sniping at him. But in general, it was kind of a middle of the line popular I guess sentiment that he was expressing. But then you go on X and you think it's like he said something completely untoward. I actually happen to think that he's carving out some real popular populist positions. You know, some people I heard, I think Ben Shapiro said that he you know, he was seeing socialist economics. I didn't hear that at all. He's talking about common good economics. I think that is popular because there is a felt need, whether it be affordability or the wealth inequality that has you know, exploded after COVID. I think he's got the winning message in a lot of ways. I'm a big supporter of his, but I understand that people are not there. They think he's These are some of the things I've heard. That he's too tied to Tucker, he hasn't disavowed Tucker or something that they they don't think he's you know, got the proper foreign policy position on Israel, or that he was too aggressive on the m OU. But if you look them ou was popular his you know, he actually got a boost in the polling when he started pushing them OU and a lot of people want to see the MoU get put back in place as we exchange you know, jabs with with Iran. But these things tend to be very popular. I think You're point is well made, and I experienced that firsthand talking to people over the weekend and at the end of last week. I don't see where the controversy is now. One thing I want to say, Mark, because I think this is getting lost in it. I'm not alleging the people that are attacking him on X for example, are paid to do so. I think they have really legitimate questions and concerns. But my guess is he's going these these are popular.
00:33:24
Speaker 12: Positions, Yeah, many of them are. I think it's you know, look, any vice president. I've covered several vice presidents who people thought of as potentially running for president, and I'm still not sure he's gonna run. By the way, any vice president gets negative coverage, it's the nature of the beast. You go back and look at how Al Gore was covered or Dan Quayle was covered.
00:33:45
Speaker 7: Kam l Herrs.
00:33:46
Speaker 12: It's a tough job to do well in because you have to agree with the boss, and as the saying goes, you get all the enemies and only a few of his friends. At the same time, the beyond people who don't want him to be the future of the party. It's difficult as vice president to enunciate what you really think because he got to go with what the boss thinks. So, for instance, I really don't know what jd Vance thinks about the current Trump administration policies on the economy. That policies on iron get a lot of attention for obvious reasons, but where is he.
00:34:18
Speaker 7: On the economy.
00:34:19
Speaker 12: I don't really know how he might differ from Donald Trump on the economy. And I think if he does run for president, it'll be both a challenge because he'll have to separate politely from his boss, but also an opportunity to define himself maybe on different terms. And I've no doubt he's a free market capitalist, but his boss has you know, people say, well he's his economic policies are are a democrat. A lot of things Donald Trump has been for, like taking ownership in these companies, that's not traditional Republican economics either.
00:34:48
Speaker 2: Yeah, Mark, when do you see is it after the midterms that this becomes more fair game? Is that the timing?
00:34:55
Speaker 7: Yeah?
00:34:55
Speaker 12: Yeah, I'd say a bit between November and March will know a lot more.
00:35:00
Speaker 2: Alprin amazing analysis is all.
00:35:03
Speaker 7: We'll talk to you soon.
00:35:07
Speaker 2: Hi, folks. Andrew Colvett here, I'd like to tell you about my friends over at why Refi. You've probably been hearing me talk about y Refi for some time now. We are all in with these guys. If you or someone you know is struggling with private student loan debt, take my advice and give them a call. Maybe you're behind on your payments, maybe you're even in default. You don't have to live in this nightmare anymore. Why ref I will provide you a custom payment based on your ability to pay. They tailor each loan individually. They can save you thousands of dollars and you can get your life back. We go to campuses all over America and we see student after student who's drowning in private student loan debt. Many of them don't even know how much they owe. Why ref I can help. Just go to y refi dot com. That's the letter why then refi dot com. And remember why REFI doesn't care what your credit score is. Just go to yrefi dot com and tell them your friend Andrews sent you. We have a great treat in store for you. And that is of course j Feely. He is now the official Republican nominee for CD one, trying to send him to Congress. He had a great primary victory last week. We covered it live, of course with Tyler Boyer, COO of Turning Point Action. Now he joins us, Jay, welcome back to the show and congratulations on a massive, massive primary victory. It was not easy, but you ended up winning by kind of a lot. Give us your reactions of what that moment meant for you and where that leaves us.
00:36:41
Speaker 13: Now, Andrew, you know it was a special day.
00:36:44
Speaker 7: I'll take you back to that morning. You know, my wife and I got.
00:36:47
Speaker 13: Up and we said the prayer that we've said every single day since we announced that we were running, and that's to put on God's full armor of protection. We walked through it every morning, and then we had a great piece about it. You know, I didn't know which way it was going to go. We knew what the polls were showing, and I knew that we had done all the work that we could do.
00:37:05
Speaker 7: You know, we did all the events.
00:37:06
Speaker 13: We knocked on eight thousand doors in July alone, we made eighty thousand calls, and our team had been putting in all the work, and you know, I just had a piece and I just prayed, you know, Okay, God, if you want me in this political process, then open the doors, and if you don't, then close the doors like I want your will to be done. And because of that, we could have a great piece. You know, Paul talks about that piece that transcends all understanding. That's how my wife and I felt. And you know, I'm excited about this process. You know, I'm kind of reinvigorated because when you're running a primary, you're running against guys that mostly have the same beliefs that you have. And now you know, in this general you know, the two parties have never been further apart ideologically, and the Democrat Party has has wholeheartedly embraced Democrats socialism, and you can really focus on the issues, and you can focus on the differences and where this country is going. You know, one party wants to, you know, embrace this Democrat socialist mentality, open borders, open prisons, getting rid of the Senate, you know, completely undermining and changing the very foundations that this country was founded on. And one party believes in common sense ideas, trying to create equality, trying to create the right economic environment for people to thrive individually and businesses to thrive, and to respect individual liberties, you know, and I'm excited for to be able to make that distinction.
00:38:27
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that was really well put, Jay. I mean, we spent a lot of our first hour of the show today talking about the rise of DSA and what their policy planks actually are. It's terrifying, and people don't realize that the Democrat Party apparatus in the state of Arizona is very radical. I mean, it's indistinguishable from Mom Donnie's New York. The ideas that they're espousing what their vision for the future is. So tell us about your opponent now in the general and what we would get if we don't get j Feeley over the finish line in CD one for Arizona.
00:38:58
Speaker 13: Well, I think it's pretty interesting if you go back to this primary. The Democrats spent about seven million dollars just in this primary. They endorsed Marlene Woods. They did not endorse doctor Mishaw. They spent a ton of money against him, you know, And they wanted somebody who they felt would fit this district more, somebody who is more moderate, and they didn't get that. And you know, they got a Meshaw again, who ran two years ago against David Schweiker lost fifty two forty eight, you know. And and he's somebody who wants a single payer system, you know, that wants medicaid for all, and you know, wants to embrace and has embraced a lot of these Democrats socialist policies that you know, believes in the destruction of capitalism and the destruction of the American Empire, and you know, wants to undermine so many of the foundational qualities that we believe. And you have to I think a rational person is going to look at where this Democrat socialist movement is going. Who are the leaders of the Democrat Party Now it is AOC and Bernie Sanders, it is Mandani. They are having tremendous success around the country, not just in New York with the three House seats there, but in Colorado, in Pennsylvania in the mayor race and d C. This is spreading across the country and the Democrat Party is panicking about this because they know that these ideas and the ideology that they expose, especially here in CD one, in this district that you know is as a center right district. You know, it's a district that has sixty thousand Moorish registered Republicans and Democrats got one hundred and eighty thousand registered independents. And I believe most of those independence lean to the right, you know, but they want the right economic opportunities for their children to succeed in the next generations. They want individual liberties, and they do not want this platform that believes in fundamentally changing America and what's made it great. You know, you look at the last two hundred and fifty years, what we've been able to accomplish, and the poverty that capitalism has eliminated, not just here in this country, but around the world. It is the great system to lift people out of poverty and give people who come from nothing the opportunity to be a success in life. That's what's great about America. That's why we are, you know, the shiny beacon on the hill, and we need to fight for that. And we're going to continue to make that distinction throughout this race with me and a Misha.
00:41:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, and you started this conversation Jay basically saying, hey, listen, the ideological divergence between the two parties has never been greater, never been larger. And the DSA's plan for America is to destroy It is to destroy what has made America America. And you go around your district, and I know that district pretty well now as I've moved to Arizona, you know, in November really before that of last year, and it's you feel it. It's a center right district. The question is going to be turnout. And the reason this is so critically important is the midterms we don't see as much turnout. Trump's not on the ballot. That's why what we're doing a turning point action is so critically important, and I just want to stress this for the audience listening. J Feely's district CD one in Arizona could be what the entire Congress. The balance of power hinges upon your district. No pressure, Jay, but that's how big the steaks are in your district. It's one of the few true swing districts in the country, and we've got more registered Republicans there. The question is can we get them out? And that's why Turning Point Action is investing so much time and energy in CD one. That's why we have ballat chasers deployed because we believe in you, and I just want to say you are the right man for this job. I know that in my gut you are a good Christian man. You pray, you raise your kids to love the Lord, you raise a beautiful family, and you've put your heart and soul into this. So action items we got to get people to come out, do not be disaffected. The future of Western civilization could very well hang on CD one. So what are the action items for people listening?
00:43:02
Speaker 10: Jay?
00:43:03
Speaker 13: Well, I love that. I love the fact that it's consequential. I talked about that in my speech after we won in the primary. You like, when you do things, you want to be involved in something that's going to have real meaning and going to have an impact on the future of our country. And I truly believe that this seat and this election, this midterm election, has the ability to fundamentally shape our country going forward. I think one of the things that we need, Andrew, is Christians to be engaged in the political process. We have forty million Christians around the country that don't vote, that aren't engaged in the process, you know. And for me, you know, We're going to do all kinds of events. We're going to do town halls where we talk to independence and Democrats come out out and talk to us. Here here what I believe and why I believe it, the impact that I've tried to have on this community, the engagement that my wife and I have always done, you know, throughout my time in the NFL, and why I wanted to get into politics to effectuate people's lives, you know. But the other thing I want to do is I want to go to churches and I want to sit down and be able to talk to people in those communities, in those churches about why they should care about this process the impact it has because I believe if you're a Christian and you believe in trying to live a life for Christ, then there's only one party that you can support. Doesn't mean that the Republican Party and Conservatives are perfect, not by any means, but when you look at the two parties and what they advocate for and where they want this country to go, if you believe in God and you are a Christian, there's only one party that's advocating for those policies that respects life and tries to create the right opportunity for this country to follow. It's Judeo Christian roots, and that is the Conservatives. That is the Republican Party. You know. So I want to do something that isn't done a lot in politics, and going and doing those meetings in churches on Saturdays talking giving the right opportunity and forum for people in those churches to come out and hear you and question you and listen to you, because we need those people engage. We're gonna do our huddles that we do every Sunday where we go into people's homes and you invite all your friends and family, not as a fundraiser but to communicate and talk and to be able to ask questions. We're gonna be doing our Friday night football events that we that we started last year where we go to all the football games.
00:45:22
Speaker 2: Jay Peey for Congress, Jay Pheey for Congress, get involved, chip in some money. This man is the real deal and he's gonna take it home for us. Over the finish line in CD one, Jay, thank you so much. All Right, So, I don't know if you guys have seen this yet, but it is definitely worth covering on this show. Doctor Fauci is in the news again, and why because Senator Ran Paul, Republican from Kentucky publicly released the Fauci diaries that he uncovered in the course of his investigation into Anthony Fauci, and he released them on July twenty fifth, is part of a Senate Homeland Security Committee oversight investigation into COVID nineteen origins and Fauci's role. Senator Paul posted a thread on Tony's diaries covering roughly December twenty nineteen, so right before the outbreak was felt very strongly here in the United States, we were getting reports of it in China. So it covers it from December twenty nineteen through December twenty twenty two, and it's all available on the Senate side. I recommend you guys go check it out. I'm pouring through it right now. But what he does is he frames what doctor Fauci said publicly versus what he wrote privately in his own journal. And this is becoming shortly before doctor Fauci is scheduled subpoenaed to testify before the committee. So these are contemporaneous notes of what doctor Fauci saw and what he was saying and versus what he said publicly, which we have a very ample record of. And there is a couple of things that are just extraordinary, okay, absolute bombshell stuff. One, we get this weird view into doctor Fauci being completely obsessed with himself in his own fame. He notes more than once at his he's almost flabbergasted at how famous he was becoming, that he is probably the most famous scientist in the world. He posts pictures like this one sixty seven. This is actual entries from doctor Fauci's journal, his diary, where he's posting pictures of him of cookies on himself. He has a bobblehead doll that he's just so taken by. This is actual. Have you ever known a man to post diary injuries of this nature? One sixty eight. This is more Docuchi, the Fauci Pauci. These are I guess alcoholic beverages of some sort, and they've got his face on him. He loves this. He posts another a mosaic, this again released by Chairman Ran Paul of the Homeland Security Committee. Of all these people wearing Fauci shirts, he's obsessed with himself. This is what's also fascinating. So we have public video available to all of us. This is part of the public record of Anthony Fauchin denying that he had anything to do with closing schools. Turns out, though he left a little breadcrumb for us in his diary one point fifty seven. This is saying I spoke with Bill Deblasio, Mayor of New York City, and convinced him, based on what I was saying publicly in my conversation tonight, to close the New York City schools. I went on to tell him he could close the bars and restaurants in New York City. I had a similar call with Anne O'Leary, the chief staff of Governor Gavin Newsom of California, and said that based on my TV appearances today and yesterday, the governor has decided to close the schools in California, as well as bars and restaurants. This is a direct contradiction to his publicly stated statements that he had nothing to do with closing the schools. He convinced New York in California, which led the way on these draconian lockdowns to close everything up. The other thing that becomes really interesting is this discussion about where the origin of the virus came from. There is a very very famous meeting of twelve scientists that gathered in a room, and from that we got proximal origin right, that it came from the wet market. Well, it turns out of those twelve scientists only two believes that it came out of the wet market. The rest of them believed that direct insertion i e. A lab leak was more probable. So this is one p. Fifty eight, Fauci writes in his diary. Now we know the market was not the source. It was the amplifier. Okay, this is January of twenty twenty, the wet market was already off the table in his own private notes, and yet we took months of deliberation saying that it was probably a lablink. We had an argument, very very loud of vociferus that it was probably a lablink because the Wuhan Institute was right there where the source of the spread originated. It was very obvious to anybody with common sense. And yet they denied this, They obfuscated, they lied publicly. But in his own notes, as of January twenty twenty, we knew that the wet market was off the table. We got banned on social media for saying this. You were not allowed to say this. This was called dangerous disinformation. That it was sparking anti Chinese racism pretty remarkable. Only two concluded it was natural. You could throw it one fifty nine. This is a list of scientists on that call. Only two concluded it was natural. Per Fauci's own notes. The rest felt that deliberate assertion was the was the case. This was as doctor Rand Paul says, It was never a fifty to fifty room as was expressed. So in May twenty third of twenty twenty one, f Fauci called the lead author of Proximal Origin, the paper he'd been citing publicly as independent science, for reassurance about his own NIH grant his diary. I feel much better now that he is in total support of what I have been saying. Okay, so listen to this. I had a very interesting and helpful conversation today with Christian Andersen of Scripts Research Into Institute. He was very emphatic that the work that was done at the Wuhan Institute in association with our grant was not gain a function. In addition, he confirmed that if you match the chimeric viruses that were made in the context of the NIH grant at Ruhan, they are not even close sequences sequence wise to the SARS CoV two. So this is basically establishing that he gets to keep his grant. There is so much more here that needs to be unpacked, and we're going to unpack it in the days to come. But watch this space. Doctor Fauci is probably the biggest shape shifting liar of a con artist that's ever been unleashed on the American public, and he's being caught out by his own freaking diary. He can't make this stuff up for nearly three thousand years, Homer's the Odyssey has shaped Western imagination. It tells the story of Odysseus as he faces monsters, shipwrecks, false comforts, and impossible choices on his long journey home. As one of the foundational works of Western literature, Homer's epic is more than a mythology. It explores permanent questions about courage, duty, loyalty, family leadership, temptation, and the search for home. In one of the epic's defining moments, Odysseus rejects the offer of immortality from the goddess Calypso, choosing instead the long and difficult journey home. His decision reveals one of the central themes of the Odyssey that a life of duty, family, and home is greater than a life devoted to comfort or glory. Achilles chose glory, Odysseus chose home. That's why Hillsdale College has released its newest free online course, The Odyssey, taught by Professor Benedict Whalen. The course reveals why Homer's masterpiece remains one of the greatest works of Western literature. Find this free course at Charlie for Hillsdale Dot com. That's Charlie for Hillsdale dot Com. Rich, you sent me an article over the weekend that definitely, you know, gives me pause, right, And it came from the Washington Post. They went out and they talked to a bunch of people in the field, and they're noticing a lack of enthusiasm. And I think this is the stando out quote. It says about one in five reliable Republican base voters are at risk in November. They either will stay home or vote them across Iowa, Ohio, North Carolina. I believe that's Montana, New Hampshire, Michigan. That's that's terrifying. Rich, is that? And that you've been warning about this for a long time since said Rich, you gotta come on, and what is driving this at risk? Purport? One in five? Is it that bad?
00:54:30
Speaker 5: And I think everyone needs to remove the term blackpilling from their vocabulary. Okay, people like me who have been better or not even better, the best at surveying and measuring and tracking the Trump coalition, which is different than any previous Republican coalition have been now for over a year, and by the way, that included Charlie because he was one of my only allies before Operation Midnight Hammer. Trying to warn everybody that if you do this will be seen as a gross betrayal by a huge and critical section of your base and they will not come back. They may And this is not me being hyperbolic. This is a group of people who joined the Trump coalition because they expected something different. What they got was more of the same Republicanism that the country rejected after George W.
00:55:20
Speaker 11: Bush. I can't even be any more plane than that.
00:55:24
Speaker 5: It started with how the mishandling of the Epstein situation came in to be By the way, New York Times bestselling book Now came out and completely confirmed everything that I tried telling people. Even Dan Bongino knew I was right, even though he wasn't eating of the courage to say it in public.
00:55:39
Speaker 11: And we are at this point now. I mean, Andrew, I do this every day for a living.
00:55:44
Speaker 5: Why would you listen to people ridiculous Twitter handles who interview zero people on a daily basis. This is what I do and have done better than anybody else for more than a decade, especially in the Trump era.
00:55:56
Speaker 11: This is not good. This isn't simple, you know.
00:56:00
Speaker 5: Being disaffected. This is a five alarm fire that we need to address. And I've been trying to shoot up flares for more than a year now to no avail. And I think, honestly, we're in the field now. You're going to see the poll real soon. Andrew, I think the rug pull on the piece deal is a problem. More than a problem.
00:56:17
Speaker 2: It's yeah, well, so let's go through this. You sent me some graphics here, Yeah, your your first one. It's just two colors, easy to read to pie chart. He said, do you think it is worth paying four dollars a gallon or hire for gas to continue fighting the Iran War? Your poll says thirty four point one percent says yes, it's worth paying higher gas prices to fighting. Around sixty five point nine percent say no, not it's paying.
00:56:46
Speaker 11: By the way, it's higher.
00:56:48
Speaker 5: Now since we talked and I sent that to you, I mean we obviously continue to interview people for the rest of Sunday.
00:56:53
Speaker 11: It's higher.
00:56:54
Speaker 5: Let me just ask a question real quick, Ben, can you read are you colorblind? Martisen? You're the one who brought up the four gasoline per gallon? Can you read are you colorblind? Mark Levin? Can you read are you color blind? That entire group doesn't have a single single data point on their side to argue for the catastrophic policy that they have led this administration in that they have advocated for, which is, by the way, more of the same Bushism. It's the exact reason while Donald Trump was able to win a nomination against seventeen other people and, by the way, make the biggest political, most impressive political comeback in US history. So why on earth would we ever think it was a good idea to go down the path of those people, the dinosaurs, who represent a shrinking.
00:57:40
Speaker 11: And dying It's not even a coalition, it's a.
00:57:43
Speaker 5: Shrinking and literally dying demographic in the US electorate. The only thing they've accomplished since And yes, you know, people like Charlie and I were.
00:57:53
Speaker 11: Successful in limiting the strikes last year.
00:57:56
Speaker 5: But what we knew, what everyone else didn't want to accept, is that if they did Operation Midnight Hammer, it was always going to lead to an unpopular full on kinetic war, and now here we are Andrew, and the only thing they accomplished, the only thing this group of people have accomplished, is that now MAGA has shrunk and transformed into something that is dwarfed by what the Democrats are going to put together.
00:58:19
Speaker 11: Unfortunately it looks that way.
00:58:21
Speaker 5: And millennials want nothing to do with the Republican Party, which is maybe people don't know this.
00:58:26
Speaker 11: And by the way, go buy burn it down, go pre order it. That's why I wrote it. I'm sorry I didn't write it sooner.
00:58:30
Speaker 5: I wish people would have been able to read it sooner so we didn't have to go through this painful process. But millennials are actually the largest voting eligible population share in this country. Boomers just vote at a higher rate, but they turn eighty this year and.
00:58:44
Speaker 11: Will soon fall off.
00:58:46
Speaker 5: Chasing away millennials was the single most unwise is the best word I could drum up right now. Move that I've ever seen a political party mate.
00:58:57
Speaker 2: Rich, So with millennials, you know we saw a big move. Okay, if you date all the way back to Obama when they when we lost millennials by I don't know what it was like forty points or something. It became basically a swing vote. It was a fifty to fifty vote. It what were millennials at in twenty twenty four? And now what's the delta since the election?
00:59:20
Speaker 5: Okay, this is important because Donald Trump didn't just win and win kind of easily, right, Andrew, I mean we were done at eleven o'clock at night. We were all you know, we were done that. We haven't seen a presidential election get put away.
00:59:31
Speaker 2: Surprising since surprisingly easy.
00:59:34
Speaker 5: Yeah, since Barack Obama dismantled Marktisen's coalition when they ran Mit Romney. That was the last time we've seen a presidential election get called that quickly. By the way, all right, this is key to how Trump was able to do that. It wasn't that that he just changed minds millennials. And if you look at the story of millennials, on which I am one, you'll see nine to eleven hit them the minute they come into the workforce and they become adults, right the old of the Muldism, which is me, I'm right before gen X. They get hit with nine to eleven and it completely changes their world and how things work. Unfortunately, it also stripped a lot of their liberties, which soured them on the Republican Party later down the road when it became clear that it wasn't worth it. Then they start to recover from some of this and they get smashed with the financial.
01:00:19
Speaker 11: Crisis, all right, then that goes away.
01:00:22
Speaker 5: Trump comes around, He you know, resurrects the Republican Party after two very disappointing years when they backed Obama.
01:00:29
Speaker 11: All right, in twenty seventeen, they become.
01:00:33
Speaker 5: The largest share, the largest single generational share of the voting eligible population. But they're still not voting at significantly higher rates. So boomers and others are able to keep them, you know, to keep them from flexing their political muscles.
01:00:46
Speaker 11: As we'd like to say.
01:00:48
Speaker 5: It's not until twenty twenty four when Donald Trump didn't just change minds. These are disaffected people that through this would happened after that COVID, right, Donald Trump was able to convince a large group of millennials to come out and vote again and participate in the process when in previous elections they had checked out again, they were done, they gave Obama a chance, and they're okay, and they came out in large shares for Obama. They drove older shares of the vote down into the mid to low twenties. And then by the time, you know, Obama began to cause disaffection himself. You know, the boomers started to get to the mid and high twenties again, even in some elections in midterms of course, in the thirties. So they punched way above their weight because they're voting at rates you know, that are significantly higher. Trump didn't judge the millennial mind changer. He did a whole show on this and inside the numbers because of the death of Whole Kulgan and what it meant culturally, and it was a perfect example, perfectly symbolic. So we did an entire show on this. And I don't know at this point.
01:01:55
Speaker 7: And then people always, well, Rich, what.
01:01:56
Speaker 11: Do we do now?
01:01:57
Speaker 5: The answer is, I don't really know, Andrew, because I mean I knew the answer a year ago. I knew the answer six months ago even and I think before with the peace deal, we saw Trump's his approval rating rebounded strongly with that peace deal.
01:02:11
Speaker 11: I showed you that pole. We talked about that pole as well. Oh yes, his favorability shot that positive.
01:02:18
Speaker 5: And by the way, this is another thing to consider, and I'm gonna put this other stuff to rest, which I try to do every time I come on the show.
01:02:25
Speaker 11: Here, JD's the only one that can win a national election.
01:02:28
Speaker 5: Okay, nobody else can win a national election. You have to win the Rust Belt until the twenty Marc Rich.
01:02:34
Speaker 11: No, he can't.
01:02:34
Speaker 5: Zero chance, zero chance. He cannot win one of the Great Lakes.
01:02:38
Speaker 11: Roust Belt states.
01:02:39
Speaker 5: Look at how close Wisconsin was for Donald Trump. Donald Trump is the reason why you can win the state of Michigan, Pennsylvania.
01:02:46
Speaker 11: These are not swing states. They're really not.
01:02:49
Speaker 5: This is the dupe that Republicans have allowed themselves to believe. They're not swing states. They're Trump's swing states, and a particular brand of Trump that now now unfortunately most voters, whether you support Donald Trump or not, is a relevant You are still a shrinking part of the electorate, the overall electorate. All that matters is how the rest of his coalition from twenty four views it, and they don't view it that way anymore. So that hurts by extension, hurts the only guy who can win a national election, and why can he when others can't?
01:03:22
Speaker 11: Because of his story?
01:03:23
Speaker 5: He is that millennial we were just talking about his entire story embodies their identity.
01:03:29
Speaker 2: Andrew Rich Charlie was a big believer in the fact that JD was the right pick for vice president because of his story, because he thought that he could help in the rust belt. All right, Rich, I want to show another graph from some of your polling here, because I think it's really important that people visually see this stuff. One seventy two. Throw it up. Do you support or oppose reopening negotiations to end their war? And you've got forty point six percent strongly support, and then you got twenty four point seven that somewhat support. So you add those two together, Rich, you're looking at what sixty five percent of the electorate supports negotiating an end to the Iran issue. And we just got a clip, by the way, breaking in the middle of the break, President Trumples on air First One headed to Michigan and he said, they want to meet, We're gonna meet. We're gonna see what happens. All right. Obviously it's tough. It's tough to negotiate with Iran. This is one of the reasons getting involved in a conflict in the first place was probably a questionable eicially, because you can always start a war, but you can't. You can't finish, you can't you can't determine when it ends. They get to say in it too, but it's popular rich. This is why JD's favorable shot up when he was seen as leading the MoU negotiations. How much of an impact can this have if we're successful getting a resolution to the Iran conflict.
01:04:55
Speaker 5: You know, it can't hurt. You know, let me let me put it this way, it can't hurt. It's the only choice at this moment. Last week we did a show because a lot of what people here out there is just patently wrong about the views of Iranian The Iranian people and the views of the Iranians do matter as far as whether a deal holds or not, because every regime must maintain regime credibility. They can't be seen as capitulating. Honestly, Jade Vance, the Vice President, is a Helen Keller like miracle worker. The fact that he was able to get the terms of the MoU that the neocons hated, by the way, the fact that he was able to even able to get those terms, considering what of Iranians, how their opinions have changed after Operation Midnight Hammer. Is a real testament to how much work he must have put into it and how much persuasion you know that the guy must be capable of. Because the truth is and people hate this, they hate hearing this, but it's true. The warmongers lied to all of you, including the President. The Iranians were not these you know, rabid, fanatical pursuers of a nuclear bomb.
01:06:01
Speaker 11: Andrew, It's simply false. You know that in polling.
01:06:04
Speaker 5: From credible organizations that aren't backed by the CIA and other regime change think tanks, is very very clear from Gallup, the University of Maryland, from Pew. They didn't even believe before Operation Midnight Hammer, they didn't even believe Islam permitted the development of nuclear weapons. Now they want a bomb and they are going to be it's going to be more difficult for the regime to sell this to their population.
01:06:30
Speaker 11: In the wake of Operation Midnight Hammer. I was stunned that.
01:06:33
Speaker 5: Jada even got the terms he did because the regime has no incentive they can take punishment Andrew, their population supports it, and they're not a democratically elected government, right, so they don't care their number one problem with their regime is economic reforms, which they blame the West for. Anyway, you were all lied to. They were never going to topple their government. There was never an anti Mollah sentiment in Iran. Mark Levin and the rest of them.
01:07:00
Speaker 11: Lied to you. They lied to you. They use fake CIA polling. We've read documents on the show.
01:07:05
Speaker 5: They're laughing at you because it's just fake poles. They're just fake they were made.
01:07:10
Speaker 2: To suit the West. It was domestic population. Yeah, yeah, you're saying the domestic population in Iran is in favor of this regime. It is. The regime is significantly or sufficiently popular.
01:07:24
Speaker 5: Absolutely, and the only time in multi decades of polling by credible outlets, not fake CIA led polling.
01:07:34
Speaker 11: In multi decade.
01:07:35
Speaker 5: Trends, you can see that Operation Midnight Hammer was the catalyst and for the first time ever in the history of their polling, they want a bomb.
01:07:43
Speaker 2: Good job, all right, So Rich, Okay, So people accepted.
01:07:48
Speaker 11: The iotolas fop.
01:07:50
Speaker 5: By the way, I just wanted to say that they accepted the Iotolus flot law not to develop a nuclear weapon, just a nuclear program, but not a nuclear weapon. Seventy eight percent Andrew, and it completely turned it around with Operation Midnight Hammer.
01:08:03
Speaker 7: Good job.
01:08:04
Speaker 2: So all right, I hear you loud and clear. But peace is popular. We've got to pursue it. And here's here's the question. So you see the rise of DSA. We only got about a minute and a half left. Rise of DSA. It is a symptom of an underlying problem in our politics. Feels like nothing gets fixed, doesn't matter who you vote for. And the question then becomes, if you had a magic wand and from a messaging and a policy standpoint between now and election day November, what should the admin be hitting hard? What do they need to say real quick, one minute, Rich, They have to they.
01:08:42
Speaker 5: Have to dump this war and acknowledge your affordability crisis in this country because Mom Donnie is not a fringe candidate. He is a He is the tip of a rising trend. What Andrew is referring to, folks, is the identification question. Every month, the number of Democrats who identify as socialists continue to rise. So it wasn't black pilling. It was me warning this country that if you turn it over to these people, they are crazy. These are fanatics. They honestly, Andrew everybody's got to get back to work. If you want to buck history, you better buck with Congress usually does, which is go home in the second year, especially in the month of August and do nothing.
01:09:17
Speaker 11: Republicans can't do that.
01:09:19
Speaker 5: They need to listen to President Trump, get rid of the filibuster, pass the Save Act, and acknowledge the affordability crisis, and actually do something you promise the American voter you would do.
01:09:29
Speaker 2: It's that simple. Yeah, when you've got a situation where one in five Republican, predictable, reliable voters might stay home, I don't believe that they're going to vote them. Maybe some well, but I think now some more likely they're just not going to show up. They're just not going to show up. If you do that, that is the underlying elements necessary for radical revolutionary politics in this country. We've got to focus to messily Rich Barris, thank you, my friend. We'll see you as soon.
01:09:57
Speaker 11: All the best, brother. For more on many of these stories and news you can trust, go to Charlikirk dot com.
