Speaker 3: All right, everybody, we have a jam-packed show today. Welcome, welcome across the country to all of you. We're here at the YRefi Studios, and we're starting off with a bang. We have The one and only Ken Paxton, who is obviously running for Senate in the great state of Texas on right now. So without further ado, Ken Paxton, welcome back to the show, my friend. There's so much to get to with you. You are you are barnstorming the state of Texas right now, Mr. Attorney General. And you it's the come and take it tour. Where are you right now? How many stops and how's the reception been on the ground?
00:01:54
Speaker 4: So good morning. Thanks for having me on. We are on a 17 day bus tour. We're in day 14. We're in Houston today, Brazoria County, Pearland. Yesterday we were out in Weatherford, which is west of Fort Worth with the vice president. And we flew down and we were at a location in Beaumont because we couldn't get the bus there in time. So I met the bus there because we had our plans changed when the president, vice president decided to come, but it was an awesome event. There were over 4,000 people. It was totally packed. There was people waiting outside. And that has been typical of a lot of the events I've been at. I've been really pleased with the number of people that have come to our events, the excitement. People are getting this race and how this guy that I'm running against is hiding all of his real views, which are Marxist and leftist and, you know, boys and girls sports and all these things that he now suddenly doesn't believe. Trying to hide from the public.
00:02:49
Speaker 1: Lie to the public.
00:02:50
Speaker 4: About his actual positions because he knows that if he talks about issues and he tells the truth about what he actually believes, whether it's oil and gas, whether it's taxes, whether it's transing of kids, he and I disagree on every single issue. But right now during the general election, he has adopted almost every one of my positions.
00:03:07
Speaker 3: Of course he has because that's what they do. They run to the middle and act like moderates. And we know that the problem with Talrico is that he's got all these clips everywhere. He's got all the clips that are proving exactly what he believes and who he is. And we're going to get to that in just a second. And you talked about the energy on the ground in the state of Texas. And I've been getting messages from all of my contacts there. West Texas is coming out. Rural Texas is coming out. East Texas, those Bible Belt communities are really showing up. And that's really encouraging news. But there's a difference between crowd size sometimes and actual analytics. And we have this problem sometimes. in Texas where you don't have party registration data when it comes to early voting, like we do in Arizona, for example. So what is your campaign seeing when it comes to the data and how are you guys modeling it? Are you liking what you're seeing so far?
00:04:01
Speaker 4: So early on, the Democrats heavily voted. They're top voters, the people that show up for every primary. They came out early and they were very strong at the beginning. We are starting to catch up and I think we may have passed them Wednesday or Thursday of this week. And I'm hopeful that we can continue to get Republicans out today. On Friday, today is the last day of early voting, and then Tuesday. And the reason I say that is we are a Republican state. We have a majority of Republicans. We can win these elections if our people show up. So I'm encouraging everybody to show up today or Tuesday. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Act like this matters because if we don't win this election, we are going to lose Texas And if we lose Texas, we lose the country. We cannot afford to be relaxed, to think everything's fine. I've got other things to do. What matters now is really encouraging your friends to get.
00:04:58
Speaker 5: Out and vote.
00:04:59
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:05:00
Speaker 3: Well, everybody needs to be a force multiplier, especially in Texas. You know, I love the name of your tour, Come and Take It, Mr. Attorney General, because it really is the Texas spirit in a title, in a name. And I think it embodies kind of the defiance that we have to have right now. You know, you mentioned the specific marching order, so I want to make sure that we make that very clear for the audience. If you are listening in Texas, and we have a lot of great Texas patriots that tune into the show, give them their marching orders exactly where they need to go to vote, when they can vote. You know, I want to just be crystal, crystal clear what days they can vote, etc.
00:05:38
Speaker 4: So today is the last day of early voting. From 7 this morning until 7 in the evening, you can vote. I would suggest get it over with, get your vote in, get it counted. So you don't get distracted or forget on Tuesday. Then obviously Tuesday, same thing, seven to seven, depending on where you're at in the state, there's all kinds of voting locations, especially during early voting. You can vote usually within the county, many different places on election day. A lot of times you have to vote at your precinct. So this is it. I mean, we got two days left. We are going to decide this election in the next two days. And we're going to decide the difference between, you know, Marxism and constitutional Republic freedom versus control by the government in Washington. And if my opponent's elected, he will march to the orders of Chuck Schumer and the leftist in Washington. He will not be listening to Texans about what they want to do about any issue.
00:06:27
Speaker 1: Oh, of course.
00:06:29
Speaker 3: And by the way, an underappreciated aspect of this with, when you have president Trump in the white house, Texas, it's important to have your senator have a red line to the White House. It's very underappreciated, actually, of how much more power you're going to have as a state to have Ken Paxton as your as your senator. I want to play two clips in juxtaposition because you mentioned that Talrico is basically going to be a puppet of the far left movement. And I can prove it to you. All right. I'm going to play the first clip from Kamala Harris. This just came out yesterday. And I'm going to play a second clip of James Talrico saying the exact same thing. Listen to this. SOT6.
00:07:05
Speaker 5: We need to expand the Supreme Court. You know what I'm saying.
00:07:15
Speaker 3: We need to fight if the people there want it for statehood for D.C.
00:07:20
Speaker 5: And Puerto Rico. We need to revisit the Electoral College.
00:07:25
Speaker 3: She says we have 13 circuit courts. There should be 13 justices. Funny they don't want to do this when they're not in power. Four new justices, yeah. Yeah, but interesting. Here's the Talrico clip. saying the exact same thing about the Supreme Court. And I want to have your reaction on the other side. Sod 11.
00:07:41
Speaker 6: Well, I think the Supreme Court needs to be overhauled. We have seen that corruption has infected the judicial branch, just as it's infected the legislative and executive branches.
00:07:51
Speaker 1: And so you're going to expect that I will vote for overhauls to the Supreme Court.
00:07:54
Speaker 6: That'll include binding codes of conduct for our justices. It'll include term limits. And I'm open to a discussion about expanding the number of justices.
00:08:03
Speaker 5: Mr.
00:08:03
Speaker 3: Attorney General, you know the law better than just about anybody in this country. You understand the importance of the Supreme Court. When you hear him threaten this, what is the significance to the voters of Texas?
00:08:16
Speaker 4: Well, this is pure leftist politics. This government was set up by our constitutional framers and our founders, and they set this up, and we've had it for 250 years. And now these guys, for political power, want to pack the courts They want to change the electoral college. They want to add more states to give them a lock on this country with one-party control. That's what this is about. They want one-party control, and once they have it, they are not going to relinquish it because they will control the elections, and they will make sure that we have a very leftist government, very woke and not friendly to the people of Texas. So this is an extreme version of democracy, if we can even call it that, because that's not where they want to go. They are Democratic socialists. We want government control, and it will hurt every single Texan if we get it.
00:09:07
Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely. I mean, it's crazy how much they're saying exactly who they are. I've got to believe that there are enough Bible-believing Christians in the state of Texas to reject this stuff. Hear this stuff. Sat Naam.
00:09:24
Speaker 7: Yeah, and that's, you know, I always think of myself as a Christian who hates Christianity. And like, I always get always get drawn back into it.
00:09:35
Speaker 3: I think of myself as a Christian who hates Christianity. So this is the guy that the media is propping up as this pure as the driven snow. He's so virtuous. He's so nice. And the clip after clip after clip just gives me the absolute creeps when it comes to this guy. What are you hearing from the faith communities? Are they rising up, Mr. Attorney General?
00:09:57
Speaker 4: Well, first of all, I've never met a Christian that said he hates Christianity. He also fought the Ten Commandments in our school, calling it indoctrination of children and saying that it was idolatrous and unchristian to have the Ten Commandments taught to our children. And he said teaching Christianity to children is like forcing minors to drink beer without them understanding what they're doing. So this guy is has very radical views about Christianity. They're not sympathetic to us at all. And what I'm saying to pastors across the state, look, Christians don't vote typically in any higher percentage than anybody else. And this is a time for pastors, for churches to communicate to the Christian. If we get the Christian community out to vote, if we get the faith community out to vote, we will win this election. But that's up to these pastors to encourage their congregations and their parishioners to get out and vote and make sure that our values are protected.
00:10:51
Speaker 3: Yeah, I completely agree. I'm going to play one last clip here for you. I know you got a busy day, but this topic of getting the church out to vote couldn't be more important. You know, you look at places like Michigan and El Sayed, you've got 95% of Muslims are going to vote. And I'm assuming those numbers are probably going to hold fairly true in Michigan or in Texas. And Christians... We have some estimates that show 50% of us are not going to vote. And that is unacceptable. Because when we cede the public square to people who don't share our values, guess what kind of values they're going to inject into the public square. And this is a clip from a pastor down in Texas who is describing Talrico wearing the skin suit of Christianity. It's a little bit longer clip here, Mr. Attorney General, so just bear with me. But I think it's so critically important. Sot 8.
00:11:42
Speaker 1: What he does.
00:11:44
Speaker 8: is he selectively edits Jesus until Jesus becomes a mascot for his cause. Jesus Christ is the Lord of the universe. He is not a mascot for your cause. They want the government to do the role of the individual, and they want nobody to do the role of the government and force justice to be a, quote, terror to the wrongdoer. That's the role of the government in Romans 13. So what progressive Christians do is they want the government to do the role of the individual, and they want nobody to do the role of the government. If Christians do not do our responsibility as salt, the salt of the earth, salt and light of the earth, what you're going to see is you're going to end up with a biblically defined heretic and demonic false teacher leading your state, and that is going to affect the societal inheritance that you hand your children, grandchildren, and the future church in America.
00:12:39
Speaker 3: That last line there hit me so hard, Mr. Attorney General. It affects the inheritance of what you're passing down to your children. And I think that's where I'd like to end this conversation with you. Texans are a proud people. And you have a massive inheritance that you're passing down to your children. Maybe let's end it there. Why this race means so much to the state of Texas and to the future children of that state.
00:13:08
Speaker 4: Look, we have 250 years of freedom in this country. We're at the first year of the next 250 years, and it's our responsibility to pass that on to our children, our grandchildren, and to the people that are going to be looking back 250 years from now, and they're going to say, did Texas leave that legacy to us like the founders left it to them? And look, we don't have to go to war to do this. We don't have to go to bloodshed. We don't have to do all you have to do. is show up at the polls and vote. It's such a little effort to preserve freedom, to preserve opportunity, not just for you, but for you and your family and you and your kids and grandchildren. So, look, we have to win Texas. We cannot afford to lose Texas. And if they gain control of Texas, it's going to be very difficult to have any ability to affect this country. And we will continue to move towards a one-party system of democratic control and corruption.
00:14:00
Speaker 3: That's right. The stakes are simply too high. Texas, you need to get out and vote. It sounds like you can early vote until 7 p.m. Texas time tonight. And then again on Tuesday, Election Day, 7 to 7, you can get out to your polls. Elect Ken Paxton. He will fight for you. He's proven. He is a conservative that loves his state and loves your people. We have your back, Ken Paxton. Thank you for your time today. You're going to run this thing through the finish line. The Come and Take It Tour is barnstorming that state. God bless you, sir, and we got your back 100%. We're going to be watching very closely.
00:14:37
Speaker 1: God bless.
00:14:38
Speaker 4: Thanks for having me on. Get your friends out to vote. Get your family out to vote.
00:14:41
Speaker 9: It's very important.
00:14:41
Speaker 3: God bless.
00:14:41
Speaker 5: That's exactly right.
00:14:42
Speaker 3: God bless you. Be a force multiplier, folks. You've got to get Ken Paxton. If you're listening to this in Texas, you've got to get your friends out to vote. You've got to harass everybody. Download the Turning Point Action app. We've got the Texas data in there. You can call, you can make texts, all that stuff through the app. So go to tpaction.com slash app, tpaction.com slash app, and be a force multiplier in the state of Texas. That race could determine the balance of the Senate. And a lot of people have that as the most important race to watch in the country. And every so often they do this in the state of Texas, especially in midterm years, because Republicans, for whatever reason, they don't like to show up during midterms This has to be the absolute first thing you think of if you're in the state of Texas, you're involved in politics. Vote. Vote today. Get your ballot banked and tell your friends to do the same. Blake.
00:15:37
Speaker 5: Yeah, just 100 percent. We emphasize this over and over because it matters. Midterms are entirely decided by who cares more that in every single race. Everywhere in this country, the winner is going to get fewer votes than Kamala Harris got to lose last year's election in that state. So in Texas, whoever wins that race needs far fewer votes than either Trump or Kamala got two years ago. This is entirely down to who wants it more. And there's a lot of reasons we could be optimistic. Young people don't like Democrats that much. A lot of them are just jaded and tuned out. A lot of people are very jaded about our political system. We have so many things to be excited for. That list that we did, we took the 20 biggest promises, 16 of them big home runs. We're building that new chip fab here in Phoenix. We're building things like that all over the country. We are building huge factories for the first time in this country, basically in my lifetime, where we can say, oh, a big, cutting-edge, world-class factory going up in the U.S., We have a secure border. First time in our lifetimes. We're getting real deportations. First time in our lifetimes. DEI going away. We're not having, if you're a white person or Asian person in America, your children are not being discriminated against by their own government for the first time in your life. These are all gigantic wins that we can entrench and expand over the next two years. If we turn out to vote, not one step back. And if you throw this away, Because you just didn't care enough? Because you're mad about gas prices? You want to throw your country away to people who are overtly saying we want a revolution so there will never be a conservative government in this country again. When they say we're going to expand the Supreme Court, what they are saying is, do you like school vouchers? We're going to ban those. Do you like the right to bear arms? We're going to confiscate them. Do you like having restrictions on abortion in your state? We're going to get nationwide abortion until birth. Yeah. That is what they are saying they are going to do when they say expand the Supreme Court. That is why they want to expand the Supreme Court, so they can throw out every single Supreme Court decision you have ever approved of. The left is the party of revolution, the party of push the delete America now button. They'll amnesty every single illegal. They will pay money. I'm just going to promise you this. If the left gets power again, they will pay millions of dollars to go and find illegal immigrant violent criminals that we deported, fly them back to America, give them amnesty, and pay them reparations. That is what the left believes right now. That is what they will do if we do not turn out.
00:18:22
Speaker 3: Two notes on what you just said. The polls don't matter. If you look at the CNN polls ahead of 2024, they had Trump lose in Pennsylvania. They had Trump losing Michigan. They had Trump losing Wisconsin. None of that panned out. OK, the polls can and will be wrong. Very wrong. And one of those points is that they model them wrong. Right. For example, a lot of the polls that you see are modeling youth vote at 15 to 18 percent of the electorate. Guess what? Right now, they're about 6 percent of the electorate. What does that tell me? It says that maybe they've soured on Trump and the conservative movement. But they're not rushing to Democrats. They're not enthusiastic about going and voting for the blue guys. OK, that's not happening. That's not what we're seeing. Also, what we're seeing is the electorate is getting older. That's just a midterm phenomenon. I don't know why people don't think to vote in the midterms, but a lot of young people don't tend to do it.
00:19:13
Speaker 5: In a country where more and more people are checked out. a side that just cares that much more about turning out voting making sure their people get their vote every single time has that much more power well.
00:19:25
Speaker 3: And listen you should care listen they're not hiding the ball what they want to do here folks sat 16.
00:19:31
Speaker 10: They could just pick a few people to me that's the way you go you pick like a hegs at the musk and i don't know big balls someone like that like pick someone like that and then you know show what they did right and and Rather than go for Trump, go for everybody, make it so broad that it'll exhaust people who just do want to move on.
00:19:50
Speaker 3: You see, you hear what Kara Swisher is saying. This is like some sort of geriatric, you know, prestige journalist, podcaster. Kara Swisher says, pick a few people to go after. To bring lawfare on. And she says, Elon Musk, Pete Hegseth and big balls. A kid that just, what was he, like 19, 20, something like this?
00:20:14
Speaker 5: And they just made him into, the left will do this to you. They will pick some minor person at the lower end who tried to help their country, and they will try to vaporize them. They openly will say, we want to, honestly, what it is is it is the political version of Tyler Robinson murdering Charlie. Which is why a bunch of the far left, people they cannot do without the votes of, will go and brag, ha ha, we killed Charlie. Because they want to say, if you voice conservative opinions, you might be shot dead on a campus. Same thing. If you want to work for a Republican government, we might bring 50 felony charges against you and throw you in prison.
00:20:50

Terms and conditions apply. We have a breaking story. Again, one of our favorite investigative journalists, Luke Rosiak, he has been on it like white on rice on this fraud scheme, bilking federal taxpayer dollars. for a new and rising, the fastest growing employment opportunity, especially amongst refugees.
00:22:28
Speaker 5: America's biggest employment opportunity, biggest job sector, fastest growing, is just looting this country for money.
00:22:34
Speaker 4: Yes.
00:22:35
Speaker 3: Home care has quickly become the most common job in many blue states. And Luke Rosiak has been monitoring, surveilling, and reporting on this growing fraud phenomenon. Luke, welcome back to the show. You got a big breaker this morning, and if you are not pissed off yet, you will be after listening to Luke describe what he's uncovered. Luke, the floor is yours. Explain home care and why it's growing so quickly, especially in blue states and especially amongst new immigrants.
00:23:06
Speaker 11: Yeah, thanks for having me. So when you look at the statistics from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, home health care is the most common job in states like California, Minnesota, New York, and then also Pennsylvania. And it's grown really fast. And basically what it means is you go to your relative's house and cook and clean for them. So this isn't a nurse or anything like that. And it's always, always funded by Medicaid, which is weird because if people really are just old and they can't cook, you would think that like private insurance and Medicare would do it too. But what it is, is, you know, poor people on Medicaid, they basically can get a free check to their family member for the you know, doing, hanging out with their family. And in particular, in certain refugee communities, this has become so common that it's just a way of life. And so I spent weeks in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, just filming these people. And you can see that they don't even go to the houses that they're billing for. And I literally got the GPS records that the government uses to say that there's no fraud. The GPS records are fake. I saw the internal records that said the guy that's on the screen right now was at a different house across town while I had eyes on him. So the government has no clue who's getting this money, what they're doing, if the people are really sick. And the craziest thing is, so you see him on the screen here, pulling in, he uses a GPS to clock in, but then he goes home. And he comes back 11 hours later and clocks out. So the GPS checks that he's on site during the clock ins and clock outs, but not in between. And so home care, the Democrats say it's only it's only 20 bucks an hour and they want to give him a raise. But 20 bucks an hour is a lot when you're not talking about a 40 hour work week. You're talking about an 80 hour work week or 77 in this case. So the guy's making like 82 grand a year. And then the craziest part is I found out he's logging into a second house while he's at this one, which would total $ 160, 000 a year. So the end of the day in Pennsylvania, Bhutanese refugees have a higher median household income than Pennsylvanians do. And it's because Governor Josh Shapiro and others in similar blue states, they've looked the other way at mass Medicaid fraud Because they've just turned it into essentially a universal basic income for some people in their voter base.
00:25:35
Speaker 3: You said Bhutanese?
00:25:37
Speaker 5: Bhutan.
00:25:38
Speaker 4: Jeez.
00:25:39
Speaker 5: I don't know why they're coming here as refugees.
00:25:40
Speaker 3: How many other far-flung, crappy countries do we have to just deal with all the time? That just come over here and they bilk American taxpayers.
00:25:48
Speaker 1: It's infuriating.
00:25:51
Speaker 5: This is a mini-documentary you guys have made. You can find it on Luke's ex-account, which I encourage you to go to. But we have this clip of what we were just showing there. So let's show clip two.
00:26:00
Speaker 11: What I'm about to reveal is so scandalous and wrong, it should end the $ 35 billion a year, taxpayer-funded Medicaid home health program overnight. For a foreign transplant to Pennsylvania, life is pretty good. Ram makes $ 80, 000 a year with a curiously light schedule. Every day, he pulls his car into the driveway of a nearby home at 6 a.m., fiddles with his phone for two minutes, and then leaves. Exactly 11 hours later, you'll see his car come back. He pulls up, a few swipes on the phone, and then he leaves without even getting out of the car. The reason why could bankrupt America. This is happening at such scale that home health aid is now the most common job in Pennsylvania and California and New York. It's absolutely loaded with waste, fraud, and abuse.
00:26:51
Speaker 3: So who is in that house that he's driving up to?
00:26:54
Speaker 12: Anybody?
00:26:54
Speaker 5: Anybody?
00:26:56
Speaker 11: So it's a woman whose Facebook photos show her gallivanting across the world. She was in Nepal last month, the same country that she claims to be a refugee from. She's vacationing there. Constantly going to Disney World, Aruba. She's got a Range Rover and a custom Cybertruck in the driveway. And she puts her aunt on, the aunt has diabetes. And that's the justification that gets her 77 hours a week of home health care. And so I talked to her and she was super sketchy. She was super confused because she said, well, the government inspector always calls ahead before they show up to verify that the guy is here. So I don't I'm confused that you would just show up unannounced. And so the government is basically tipping off these people to help them get away with it. The aides are not actually there. And if they think a government inspector is coming by, they'll swing by for maybe five minutes a month.
00:27:51
Speaker 3: Is the government inspector state based or federal based?
00:27:54
Speaker 11: It's state. And so this is the problem is Medicaid is mostly state. It's run by the states, but it's mostly federal money. And so the states are basically taking what congressional Republicans intended to be health care funding, and they're converting it into just free welfare for refugees because then the states don't have to pay for it.
00:28:14
Speaker 5: It's the purest moral hazard in the world that if you If it's states checking for fraud, but it's federal money that's paying for it, they're not going to try very hard. I'm just going to make a prediction right now, since you're basically following them to find this fraud. My guess is they'll pull a Nick Shirley here. We'll get the Luke Rosiak Act that says the real problem here is that someone was investigating these refugees. So we'll make it illegal.
00:28:38
Speaker 3: You're the bad guy. We'll make it illegal to investigate these people. Yeah, I'm sure you just broke some law that didn't exist yet, and they're going to try and entrap you with it.
00:28:46
Speaker 5: So I have a follow-up to that. So even though I'm not optimistic here, did you communicate with anyone in the Pennsylvania state government? Do you think, is there going to be any movement to, for example, charge these people or cut off their scam? Or what has been the reaction of the state government, if any, to this sort of behavior?
00:29:03
Speaker 11: So after I laid out the evidence to the head of a home health care company, for the guy that you saw on the screen, he himself called for the abolition of this program As it relates to, you just talked about a moral hazard. The other moral hazard is when you pay your family member to do services for you, that family member is not going to tell the government that you didn't show up. It's not going to tell the government, hey, my brother sucks at doing his job. He's lazy. He doesn't do anything. Send me a real aid. And so what the company owner himself even called for lawmakers to do is say, at a minimum, we can't let people steer Medicaid funding to their family members. And Democrats will say, well, but it's just so much more comfortable to have your son be the one who takes care of you.
00:29:52
Speaker 5: Of course it is.
00:29:53
Speaker 11: But guess what? An old lady in Pennsylvania only requires you to be 60, which is the big problem here. But an old lady may claim to be infirm to get her son a paycheck, but she's not going to pretend to be sick so that a stranger can come hang out in her house and cook for her if she doesn't really need it. So I think there's a core moral hazard.
00:30:17
Speaker 5: Yeah, well, you're more optimistic than I am, Luke. I just think about the asavia we see with the Somali community. I think it'd be so easy for them to have their clan. Your second cousin will watch my grandma, and my son, who's your second cousin, will watch them. They'd work out ways to make this.
00:30:34
Speaker 3: Here's the problem, though. We used to do this sort of thing for free. It was called being a good son, being a good daughter, being a good aunt or cousin or whatever. And I don't understand why this has to be funded by the government in the first place. I find that particular aspect of this troubling. But I also think it's important to expand the aperture here and understand that this is affecting affordability for all Americans because you're paying the taxes that are now getting fleeced by Bhutanese refugees and people that are apparently fleeing their home countries of Nepal while they go back on a vacation there. This is this is this crap needs to stop, too, because we've seen this with Somalis. The Somalis say, oh, I'm a refugee from Somalia. It's this terrible place. And then guess what? They go back and vacation there and go visit their families. If you can go back and vacation where you're fleeing from, you're not a refugee and your paper should absolutely be pulled. And by the way, we should stop admitting these people because it's all right with fraud. Here's J.D. Vance last night at a town hall in Fort Worth talking about this fraud. It's not 20.
00:31:39
Speaker 13: The fraud is actually, to me, very closely connected to the affordability problem in the United States of America. If you're stealing hundreds of billions of dollars, and that's what we've already uncovered in the anti-fraud effort, if you're stealing hundreds of billions of dollars that should go to American citizens, or at the very least should be returned to Americans in the form of tax relief.
00:32:00
Speaker 1: and you're going out.
00:32:01
Speaker 13: And spending that money buying a Mercedes Benz as a fraudster, then you're actually contributing to the affordability crisis. And so I think one of the biggest dividends that we're going to see from the anti-fraud effort is that we're going to give the American people more of their money back, less going to fraudsters, and that's how we make life more affordable.
00:32:20
Speaker 5: We got an email just a moment ago from BJ. He says, I've got to tell you, the fraud we allow is so infuriating. I live in Pennsylvania, he says, and I'm watching the show now on my lunch break. I work from home. I work overtime. I have a second job. I still don't make $ 70, 000. These losers who shouldn't be here in the first place are living their best lives. I am seriously about to explode. I'm about to explode. This is beyond just, oh, it's a big waste of money. This is, it's morally corrosive to our country that people are able to do this, that they're able to come here and so nakedly loot our treasury, loot the country, brag about it, and get all this political sponsorship because they're clients of the Democrats.
00:33:02
Speaker 3: Exactly. It's political patronage. So Josh Shapiro is incentivized. Gavin Newsom is incentivized. Kathy Hochul is incentivized to keep paying these people for their votes. And it entrenches this fraud even deeper into our system. And then, you know, Luke, you could stick around for another segment. There's this other story that I think perfectly contrasts it. And that's this Red Baron pizza stalker guy. He's stocking pizzas at these grocery stores. And I want people to see this contrast. And all of this is on the ballot. All of this is on the ballot on Tuesday. What kind of country are we becoming if we allow this to go unchecked? You know, you hear about these foreigners coming in claiming refugee status. Democrats roll out the red carpet. They got their new voters. In tow. They're waiting for them to be naturalized. Rushing them through. Remember when Biden rushed through all those naturalizations right before the election?
00:33:57
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:33:58
Speaker 5: Get more people eligible for every program in existence.
00:34:01
Speaker 3: So we can give them all our money. And meanwhile, you have this guy. He is doing things the right way. And he's stocking pizzas at a grocery store. And these little punks come up to him. And they try and play a gag on him for, you know, social media content or whatever. And this thing has gone viral. And I want to play this because I think it's the perfect contrast. It shows what we're fighting for. Sot 17.
00:34:30
Speaker 5: Hey, excuse me. You know what time it is, boss?
00:34:33
Speaker 4: 11.30 back.
00:34:35
Speaker 7: What are.
00:34:37
Speaker 6: You doing?
00:34:38
Speaker 11: Dude, thank you, bro.
00:34:41
Speaker 5: I just took $ 10 out of you. You're going to mess with me right now, okay? But I need it. But I need it real quick. This is it.
00:34:48
Speaker 7: I am not hanging with this crap right now.
00:34:50
Speaker 1: Apple Play? Dude, you didn't hear me? I just need to buy something real quick, though.
00:34:54
Speaker 3: You think this is funny, don't you?
00:34:55
Speaker 5: Thank you for the $ 20, man. I appreciate it.
00:34:57
Speaker 4: Let's go outside, buddy.
00:34:59
Speaker 5: Are you for real, bro? It is not that deep. It was just a joke.
00:35:02
Speaker 11: No, it's not a joke to me, okay? I don't have time for this crap in my life.
00:35:06
Speaker 3: My life is hard enough as it is.
00:35:07
Speaker 4: Ugh.
00:35:24
Speaker 3: I know. So these punk kids try and play a gag on him. They just have a sound effect, like it just took $ 10 from him. Then he says, thanks for $ 20. And you see that. It felt like this guy was a throwback to the 90s, like a 90s dad. He's just trying to get home to his kids. He's desperately upset that he's an hour late and he doesn't get to put them to bed. He's got to wake up at 5 to do it all over again. Contrast that guy. By the way, I want to give a shout-out to Red Baron. They're saying... Employee of the Month nominations are closed. You know why. That tweet has been seen over 7 million times at this point. And they say that he's still with us. He's got a lot of fans, a fan club, and we're among those fans. So good for Red Baron because that guy, salt of the earth, working his tail off, trying to pay his mortgage, take care of his four kids, doing it the right way. And then to hear stories like those that you are exposing, Luke, of a freaking Bhutanese refugee... Taking care of some 60-year-old woman with diabetes? Okay. You know, cry me a river. And then to find out she's got fancy cars gallivanting around the Caribbean and going back to Nepal, the country she claims she's fleeing from, is so insulting to the American taxpayer and so insulting to everybody in this audience, especially when you see that guy working his tail off and his fingers to the bone.
00:36:47
Speaker 14: Luke.
00:36:47
Speaker 11: Yeah, I think it's a perfect analogy, really. And I think that with the election coming up, Americans should be disgusted by the fact that blue state governors like Josh Shapiro have made it so that Bhutanese refugees have a higher median household income than actual Pennsylvanians. That's worth saying again. The refugees make more money than the Americans, according to census statistics. And it's because they're all getting paid to take care of their own relatives merely for being 60 years old. The video that you showed earlier, that guy's getting paid because the woman has diabetes. It's all stuff that all of us do. The guy, the pizza guy does. We all take care of our own family because it's the right thing to do. And life is hard sometimes. But when these refugees won't take care of their own family unless they get paid, It makes you wonder whether they're refugees at all. And I think, you know, it connects to Ilhan Omar, too, because there's all the evidence that her refugee application was fraudulent. But if you take a step back, just what we can all see that she's not grateful to be here. That's all the evidence you need, because if you were really fleeing hardship, you'd get down on your knees and you'd thank America and you'd go through your life without complaint because it would be better than whatever hellhole you escaped from. And that's not what we're seeing from these people. Yeah.
00:38:10
Speaker 3: Luke, have you contacted the Trump administration, the fraud division? Have you sent them all of this material?
00:38:15
Speaker 11: Yeah, I did send it to them. You know, we'll see if they take action there. It certainly exposes that the GPS system they're using to track does not reflect what's happening on the ground. And Dr. Oz has pointed out recently, he's talked about this program and said there was a drug dealer arrested in Pennsylvania who, while he was being arrested, he asked the cops to let him out of handcuffs so he could clock out of his home health care shift. And the cops were like, why would you tell us that? That's fraud. And he said, oh, everybody's doing it. What are you going to arrest the whole city? And so Dr. Oz said, you know, the problem with these fraudsters is they're not just stealing our money. They're not just taking services away from people who actually need them, but they're stealing our trust. And I think that's the most evil part about these refugees. They're turning us into a low-trust society because we can't do it anymore. We can't trust people. When the next guy comes down the aisle at the grocery store and asks you what time it is, you're going to have to tell him to F off because of people like this.
00:39:12
Speaker 3: Yeah, that line is so powerful. They're stealing our trust. And that's really tragic. And, you know, I think about the America that I grew up in, and we were suckers because it was such a high trust society. We couldn't imagine some Bhutanese or Somali refugee that we extended our heart and our graciousness and our generosity to turning around and repaying that by looting the treasury. But that's exactly what happened. And so the trick here is, When we expose this, when Luke does his reporting, when we talk about it on this show, you cannot turn around and be like, well, I don't want to be racist. I don't want to be called hateful. And this is what they do. We had Tim Miller from the Bulwark on this week, and he was like, we're supposed to be an open society and welcoming and you're turning America into something else. No, they're turning America into something else. They stole our trust. They are fleecing the system. And if you're not pissed off, you should be. And we need to stop being suckers. You need to stop caring when people use the racist word against you. Because Americans are not racist. But we've been suckers for a long time, and that needs to stop. Luke, God bless you in this reporting, man. It's really important. Keep at it. I hope you've got a couple new leads that you're going to be pursuing on this front.
00:40:29
Speaker 11: I got more coming. Thank you, guys. You're the best.
00:40:31
Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks. Luke Rosiak, investigative journalist and reporter at The Daily Wire. And, you know, listen, Daily Wire takes a lot of crap. you know, turning point takes a lot of crap. It's part of doing business. Okay. But the fact that they are funding reporters like Luke Rosiak to go out there and do real journalists, they deserve your respect and appreciation. Yeah.
00:40:50
Speaker 5: Well, just 100%. And another thing to drive home is like, it's not even just that this happens. It's that the left, just like with the border, it's that they are very much aligned with Let this continue forever.
00:41:05
Speaker 3: They think you're evil. They want to loot the treasury.
00:41:08
Speaker 5: Their approach for voter fraud, if you expose it, is charge people exposing it. Their response to Nick Shirley's of the world and probably the Luke Rosiak's soon enough is pass bills that make it so you can't go and videotape this fraud. That it is literally hear no evil, see no evil. That if they will make it so nobody's looking for this, then they can argue it's not happening. And then they make it so pervasive, it's like that criminal. What are you going to do? Arrest the whole town? That's what they want to do.
00:41:33
Speaker 3: And the answer has to be yes, we are willing to do that.
00:41:36
Speaker 5: Yes, 100%. And we're willing to deport them. And all of them will go home.
00:41:38
Speaker 3: All of this is on the ballot.
00:41:40
Speaker 7: Vote.
00:41:41
Speaker 1: Vote.
00:41:42
Speaker 3: We cannot be suckers anymore. By the end of the year, more than 60,000 babies will have been saved by pre-born centers. Just this year, 60,000 babies. And for every baby who's saved, there's a mom who's saved from a lifetime of pain and regret. Take a stand for life. By providing an ultrasound for a young woman. When you do, she is twice as likely to choose life. Just $ 28 helps provide that ultrasound that saves one baby. $ 140 helps save five. A gift of $ 15, 000. And I know there's people out there in this audience that can do this. $ 15, 000 provides an ultrasound machine that can save thousands of babies for years to come. And $ 28 a month can help save babies all year long. For less than a dollar a day. So call 833-850-2229. That's 833-850-2229. Or click on the Preborn banner at charliekirk.com today.
00:42:36
Speaker 11: Preborn was so special to Charlie.
00:42:38
Speaker 5: And it's so important to me as well.
00:42:41
Speaker 11: Right now you can help make motherhood possible by providing ultrasounds with Preborn.
00:42:45
Speaker 5: I'd be so honored if you'd prayerfully consider joining us.
00:42:50
Speaker 3: We have a special guest from the White House to kick us off here, one of my favorite guests, and I think Charlie's favorite guest when it comes to talking about the economy, a complete white pill. I call him White Pill Kevin Hassett. He's the director of National Economic Council at the White House there. And we got some breaking economic news that was very, very positive yesterday. I'm going to play the clip from CNBC just because I want people to know I'm not making this stuff up, all right? And then we'll get your reaction on this other side, Kevin. Sat 21. We're coming in on.
00:43:23
Speaker 9: The headline of PCE at 3.6. I think that's a tick better. That is a tick better than expectations. Had been 3.7. I have ex-food, energy, and housing at 0.3%.
00:43:35
Speaker 1: Let's see.
00:43:35
Speaker 9: The services price index up 0.4, so still a little hot in there. I'm looking for the core price index up 0.3 as expected. And I'm assuming that means that the year-over-year is 3.1 up a tick. On GDP... hotter what i can't use that word because that's not the word worse used uh better than expected uh three four versus an expectation of three two that's up from two two but the economy is not hot it's strong or solid or whatever word the fed used yesterday.
00:44:01
Speaker 3: All right so gdp comes in at 3.4 that's up from 2.2 that's massive a 3.4 gdp number posted just a What does our audience need to understand about this number? What is it telling them about the underlying economic strength? Right.
00:44:21
Speaker 15: Well, what's going on is that the fewest people ever in U.S.
00:44:26
Speaker 1: History are getting laid off.
00:44:29
Speaker 15: And so people are getting to work because of no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security. People are working harder. So weekly wages are going up. That's making GDP grow and making consumption grow.
00:44:43
Speaker 1: And, you know, the Democrats, their favorite word is affordability.
00:44:48
Speaker 15: And they point to high gas prices, which are indeed high. But if you look at the standard of living of a typical American from the day President Trump was inaugurated through this report, then their spending, their consumption has gone up cumulatively for all Americans by, you won't believe it, a trillion dollars.
00:45:10
Speaker 1: A trillion dollars.
00:45:11
Speaker 4: Wow.
00:45:11
Speaker 1: And so people are– after adjusting for inflation.
00:45:14
Speaker 15: Then ordinary Americans are a trillion dollars better off than they were when Joe Biden left office. That's more than $ 5, 000 per family of increased well-being because of all the great news that President Trump's policies have produced. And so then I got in a little bit of left-wing trouble, which is, as you guys know, it's kind of cause for celebration.
00:45:34
Speaker 1: That's good trouble. And I actually said after citing this number, I said, look, the whole affordability story is just a fraud. you know, it's fake.
00:45:50
Speaker 15: There is no affordability story because people right now are a trillion dollars better off than they were before. And so it's just a myth that affordability is what's going to be driving the election. And then the person said to me, well, you know, and then they quoted this Christine Jean-Pierre person that worked for Biden. And she said, oh, well, Hassell, it's making the same mistake Biden made. He's out there you know, saying the economy's great and the people, you know, don't agree with him.
00:46:18
Speaker 1: And it just shows he's out of touch.
00:46:19
Speaker 15: And then I said, no, there's a big difference because Joe Biden was saying the economy's great and the economy sucked.
00:46:25
Speaker 1: We're saying the economy's great and the economy's great. It's a fundamental logical difference. I'm sorry.
00:46:31
Speaker 7: Yeah, no, no, no.
00:46:32
Speaker 3: And I understand what you're doing and you're saying. And it does become sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy when we constantly say, well, affordability, affordability, affordability. And then people feel like they're not You know, things aren't that affordable and prices are high. And so you don't want to you don't want to insult your voters. And I understand that. But there is a really good success story to be told on this economy. And, yeah, gas prices are high. So how do you how do you square that that circle? Because, you know, gas prices end up trickling. Energy prices end up trickling throughout the economy. They make everything more expensive. But the that is not hurting the Trump economy in in a larger macro sense. But there are micro stories.
00:47:13
Speaker 1: Right. So micro stories.
00:47:16
Speaker 13: Yeah.
00:47:16
Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, you can finish the question first.
00:47:19
Speaker 3: Well, you know, I think I think the question is out there. It's it's sort of, you know, really, it comes down to this earnings per capita and this this income. People obviously have a trillion dollars more in their pockets to spend than they did just a little while ago. So we know that that people have more money and the earnings per capita, though, under Trump is higher. then when he started and it was lower, adjusted for inflation under Biden. Maybe that's the story that makes it really hit home.
00:47:47
Speaker 15: People were $ 3, 000 per family worse off under Joe Biden because of Biden's inflation. And right now they're $ 5, 000 better off already because of President Trump. But the thing about the affordability thing is that because of the sort of corruption of journalism— The reason I like to mention it with people who are honest journalists like yourselves is this. They love to try to take a Trump White House person and give them a question that's kind of like, when did you stop beating your wife? And so if you sort of say, well, geez, you know, people, the polls say that people think it's the worst economy ever. Then if you disagree with them, then you're insensitive. And if you agree with them, then you're basically saying you admit that Trump's policies are bad.
00:48:34
Speaker 1: And so they constantly.
00:48:36
Speaker 15: Set up these like, you know, weird questions where you aren't really supposed to answer one way or the other and look like an OK guy. And so you're constantly having to deal with stuff like that. And the affordability one is one of those. Everybody, everybody is saying things aren't affordable. And so that if you say, well, things are affordable, then you're out of touch.
00:48:55
Speaker 3: Well, exactly.
00:48:56
Speaker 1: And so it's just it's welcome to my day.
00:48:59
Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Well, there was an interesting moment at J.D. Vance's vice president, J.D. Vance's town hall last night where he was talking about the price of homes.
00:49:09
Speaker 11: Right.
00:49:10
Speaker 3: So he gets a question from a I think it was one of our Turning Point USA vice president, I believe, at Texas Tech and asking about the price of homes.
00:49:20
Speaker 9: Right?
00:49:20
Speaker 3: He went back and looked at the numbers and he said, since we've been doing our deportation, since we've been doing all this stuff, cracking down on H-1B fraud, the price of homes in Texas dropped almost 3%. But the problem is that under Joe Biden, the price of homes in Texas went up 100%. And I think this is wherein you kind of run into a problem, is that our policies really do work. When you restore financial stability and common sense in our markets and some of these other ancillary issues like immigration, they do start working. But it's slower than ruining them. You can ruin them much faster than you can fix them.
00:50:00
Speaker 5: It's been a decades-long ruination process, and it's very difficult to undo that damage. And I think that's what we're getting at where people say affordability is a problem. The problem is they're just a miasma that everyone knows America is not as good as it was 30 years ago. And that's going to take a while to undo all of that damage, even if you have very good America first policy.
00:50:19
Speaker 1: But but we're really fixing it fast.
00:50:22
Speaker 15: I agree that, you know, like so you lost because of Biden, 22 percent of your purchasing power. And instead of having 10 percent inflation, now you've got two ish percent inflation. but the prices are still higher. And so then the question is, how do you make it up? Well, you make it up with wage growth and income growth. And we're seeing the wage growth and income growth. So people are better off, but the prices are still really, really high.
00:50:44
Speaker 3: So, Kevin, this is the final push. It's your final pitch to this country in explaining why the economy is actually rip roaring. It's solid. The fundamentals are strong. GDP growth is strong. Your earnings are going up. Employment is strong. Gas prices are high. Okay? Gas prices are high. I do believe we're in a race against the clock when it comes to the economy because we've got, yeah, there's an election on Tuesday, but then we've got two years until 2028. When you're looking at the economy, what are you seeing that makes you so encouraged and so enthusiastic? Your note to the voters.
00:51:23
Speaker 15: One of the best things that I see in the data right now is for the longest time, it feels like the people.
00:51:31
Speaker 1: in their sort of.
00:51:32
Speaker 15: 20s and early 30s were, you know, getting handed the bill for everything else that the government was doing and not really seeing much of government come out and provide things that are helpful to their lives. And, you know, under the Biden administration, you saw, for example, first-time home ownership basically went from being like 26-year-old people to 36-year-old people. And one of the things that I think is the strongest about the economy right now is it's an economy that is teeing itself up for a golden age for today's younger folks, today's young workers. And the way you can see it is that we just had in the GDP report that we just had, we had the biggest capital spending increase I've ever seen. And back in the day when I was a kid just out of graduate school, I was the guy who followed capital spending.
00:52:27
Speaker 1: For Alan Greenspan at the Fed.
00:52:29
Speaker 15: And in all my years, I've never seen capital spending go up so much. And we still have a trade deficit, but the imports that we're bringing in are machines and tools and things that people are going to use to build things in the future. And so it's one thing if we're buying things that like today's folks are consuming, that doesn't create.
00:52:50
Speaker 1: Like a stock of capital that can help create a golden age for today's younger workers.
00:52:55
Speaker 15: Right now, what we're doing is we're growing like crazy But we're not growing like crazy because we're buying carnival animals. We're growing like crazy because we're buying stuff that's going to make our productive capacity way higher.
00:53:09
Speaker 1: In the future.
00:53:10
Speaker 15: And there's never really been such a revolutionary time in the history of the American economy.
00:53:15
Speaker 3: I think that's great. And that's going to lead to jobs. That's going to lead to productivity that will further increase the earnings per capita of the average American family.
00:53:26
Speaker 1: And let me give you an example. Just sorry if I cut you off. But but think about this.
00:53:31
Speaker 15: From the time President Trump took office to today, there are 120,000 people who are currently employed building factories who weren't doing that in the January.
00:53:43
Speaker 1: Before President Trump took office.
00:53:45
Speaker 15: So you go to the University of Michigan football stadium, take everybody who's in there at that game and then.
00:53:51
Speaker 1: Put them to work building a factory.
00:53:53
Speaker 15: Like think about how many factories are going to be built all around the country. And then when those factories turn the lights on, just think about what's going to happen to jobs and wages. And, you know, I think that what's going on. is that the Trump economy right now is reversing not just the damage to Joe Biden, but the damage that we got when China entered the WTO and created all those ghost towns around America. Well, the ghost towns are waking up and they're flourishing and they're doing it on the backs of 120,000 workers who were building factories that weren't just a year and a half ago.
00:54:24
Speaker 10: Yeah.
00:54:24
Speaker 3: And we're employing Americans, not foreigners. And the fastest growing Segment of the economy isn't government jobs either, which is another huge part of that.
00:54:41
Speaker 15: That's going to save us about half a trillion dollars in government salaries over the next 10 years. And by the way, you know, government workers are fine people, too. I'm a government worker right now. And the fact is that we've been following closely what happens around the D.C. area to the government workers when they leave federal employment.
00:54:59
Speaker 1: And you know what?
00:55:00
Speaker 15: They're getting jobs right away that are higher paying jobs than the ones that they had in government. And so there's no increase in unemployment in the D.C.
00:55:08
Speaker 1: Area, despite the fact that that 330,000 federal government workers have moved on.
00:55:13
Speaker 3: Well, that could probably, that's a model for everybody. I remember when Elon Musk fired all those people at Twitter, now X, and guess what? The app still works. I still use it every day. Kevin Hassett, thank you. God bless you. The white pill economist from the White House. We love it. And this is our final pitch to voters that so much foundational work has been done to right the wrongs of the Biden years and, frankly, decades before that. We're at the precipice of some really good things. And if we get those gas prices down, I think people are really going to feel it. They're going to emotionally connect with that. And so hopefully that's what's on the horizon. Kevin Hassett, thank you so much. God bless you.
00:55:55
Speaker 1: Thanks for having me, guys.
00:55:56
Speaker 9: Thank you.
00:55:59
Speaker 3: Before he ever stepped onto a debate stage or behind a microphone, Charlie understood something really important. that if you want to lead, you first have to learn. Charlie believed that ideas shape character, conviction, and courage. That's why he spent years studying the classics, the American founding, and the Bible through Hillsdale College's free online courses. He would rave about these courses all the time. These free online courses are taught by Hillsdale College professors and draw from the same great books and enduring ideas studied on Hillsdale's campus. Hillsdale's newest free online course is The Iliad, where Professor Stephen Smith guides students through Homer's great epic of honor, courage, friendship, leadership, and the pursuit of true greatness. For nearly 3,000 years, The Iliad has shaped the Western imagination. It tells the story of Achilles as he confronts injustice, rage, grief, responsibility, and the terrible costs of war. But Homer's epic is more than a story of ancient battles. It raises enduring questions about courage, duty, leadership, sacrifice, and self-command. Achilles is the greatest warrior among the Greeks, but Homer asked whether strength alone is enough to make a man truly great. In this new free online course, you'll follow Achilles through the defining trials of his life and discover why one of the greatest works of Western literature still speaks to the permanent questions of human life. Charlie understood that learning isn't just about gaining knowledge. It's about forming the mind and character needed to face the challenges of life with wisdom and courage. You can enroll today completely free And take this class or their 40-plus other free online courses. Just visit charlieforhillsdale.com to start learning today. That's charlieforhillsdale.com. 00:57:43
Speaker 5: All right, we actually have a lot of questions that have been piling up in the AMA. So let's dive right into them. Caleb and Michelle, you're first. What's your question?
00:57:52
Speaker 3: Caleb and Michelle. Hey, guys. Unmute yourself. Hey, how you guys doing?
00:57:57
Speaker 1: Doing great. How are you?
00:58:00
Speaker 3: What's your question?
00:58:01
Speaker 7: Hey, so let's see. Michelle's parents sent us a video link from the Liz Wheeler show. And they said, what do you know about this? And I'm like, oh, I don't know. Let's ask on the Charlie Kirk show.
00:58:12
Speaker 3: So there was a.
00:58:13
Speaker 7: Story about Candace Owens receiving money from Russia to be an influencer. And I was like, whoa, what do you guys know about that? And what do you think about it?
00:58:25
Speaker 3: Blake, you want to go first?
00:58:26
Speaker 5: I mean, my answer is I know nothing to that extent. I know it's a popular allegation. It's made against Candace. It's made against Tucker and others that they get money from foreign countries, from Russia, from Qatar, from wherever. It's thrown around a lot. I think it can get thrown around. It gets thrown around more than there's direct evidence for it. I can see why people believe it because you'll very often hear these people make very anti-American takes, they'll be very, very sympathetic to these foreign countries. So like Candace went to Russia. She's extremely pro-Russia. She chills for Russia. I don't think that proves she's taking money from them. I think a lot of these people, uh, will do it for love of the game. But do you know anything more about that, Andrew?
00:59:14
Speaker 3: No, I mean, there's a guy named Ryan Morrow online that has been following this. I know Andrew Wilson is another guy that has speculated that she's plotting an escape to Russia with these lawsuits. I don't have any insider knowledge about it. When she went to Russia, I know she was involved with some Putin-allied events. It's very interesting. I don't know.
00:59:44
Speaker 5: They like to trot out these people who are prominent figures in U.S. media as trophies.
00:59:49
Speaker 3: Yeah, of course. And the other thing I would say is, I guess the whole ideology is that you know, Russia is this proudly Christian, you know, nation that stands up for Christianity or something. But if you really, like, peel back the layers, it's like divorce rates are through the roof, fertility rates are bottoming out, the alcoholism and all this stuff.
01:00:09
Speaker 5: I know a lot of Christians from Russia, and they don't view Russia as a Christian paradise. Like, it's better than it was under the Soviets.
01:00:15
Speaker 3: Yeah, certainly. And the other thing is, though, they get really upset about Christians getting killed in Gaza, for example, which you should be upset about that. But then... you know, what about all the Christians that Putin's killing in Ukraine? I never hear them complain about that. It's just something to think about. A little piece of breaking news here. The DOJ is now investigating CCTV footage from Lewiston, Maine City Hall. And what does that footage show? It appears to show Somali NGO translators. That's right. We provide translators so foreigners can vote in our elections. And they're coaching migrant voters and even filling out their ballots per Maine wire. So the U.S. attorney for Maine, Andrew Benson, confirmed his office is reviewing the early voting video. It says we will not tolerate threats to the integrity of our elections.
01:01:06
Speaker 5: This is what they do over and over. They've been doing this a decade. They all get their interpreter in the booth with them. No one knows Somali. So what happens is when the handful of times this gets watched, They literally are just saying, like, that's our guy. Fill that out. Vote for them. Like, that's the translation they're doing.
01:01:23
Speaker 3: And they're diluting the votes of actual Mainers.
01:01:25
Speaker 5: And they all vote in block 100% for whoever is going to give them the most money and not enforce fraud laws. Absolutely glaring.
01:01:33
Speaker 3: 140 hours of security footage obtained by the Mainwire shows 200-plus non-English-speaking Somali voters walked through the process by a handful of these translators. under main law, translators can't approach voters unasked, can't influence their choices, and can't touch the ballot. We'll see if they did or did not. But bottom line, if you can't speak English, you shouldn't have the franchise. I mean, it's that simple. Who's our next question?
01:01:58
Speaker 5: All righty. I think Michael is next. Michael, unmute yourself, and what's your question?
01:02:02
Speaker 1: Can you hear me?
01:02:03
Speaker 5: Yep.
01:02:04
Speaker 3: Yes. Hey, Michael.
01:02:04
Speaker 9: Awesome.
01:02:06
Speaker 14: So I've been seen in the news a lot with the Bush wing and especially John Corrin trying to throw the Texas race and Quite frankly, just absolute– if I had tried half of this stuff when I first got started in politics, they would have thrown me out of the Republican Party and never would have let me back in.
01:02:22
Speaker 1: So where's the loyalty at?
01:02:23
Speaker 3: Because I got.
01:02:24
Speaker 1: Lectured nonstop for the first 10 years. You've got to be loyal. You've got to be loyal.
01:02:28
Speaker 14: When it's your turn– when your turn comes, then you can set the policy and you can set the agenda. And here we are, under 45, finally got Trump in the White House, and we've got none of it. At what point in time do we just say, screw you and burn everything they have down?
01:02:41
Speaker 5: Well, we're doing a lot of that. I know we're very annoyed that John Cornyn is clearly pouting. He clearly wants Tallarica to win. We discussed that with Tim Scott the other day. Tom Tillis endlessly signaling he wants the GOP to lose these midterms. They have this fantasy that if these midterms go badly, there will be some great revival of 2014-era GOP, the same GOP that lost a bunch of presidential elections in a row, that lost on every issue, that never delivered on anything. They imagine they'll bring this back. But you say, like, when do we get these people out? That is what's going on. We did give Cornyn the boot. There will not be another person like John Cornyn ever running for Senate in Texas again. Win or lose this race. And we're going all out to win this race. But God forbid we lose, we'll be running someone who agrees with Ken Paxton on the issues in six years' time, not someone who's a revival of John Cornyn.
01:03:34
Speaker 1: Period.
01:03:35
Speaker 5: There's endless progress being made. We just suffer from the fact Senators get six-year terms. It's hard to unseat an incumbent. They don't change as quickly as the party does, as the base does. But basically almost every senator, every new senator we get is almost always better than the person that they're replacing.
01:03:53
Speaker 3: Hell hath no fury like a rhino scorned. Yeah. I will tell you.
01:03:56
Speaker 5: And a lot of these people just end up being Democrats eventually. We don't need to kick them out of the party because they kick themselves out with their disgraceful behavior.
01:04:03
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, we saw that with Flake in Arizona. And candidly, it happens a lot. Sadly, even some of our guys, for example, you got you got Darlene Graham running for Senate in South Carolina. And unfortunately, Ralph Norman, who actually we we endorsed a turning point action before the president endorsed Darlene. He didn't he didn't win and he didn't win that primary. And he's a bit upset. And there's a whole write in, you know, project for him in the in the general. That's not good.
01:04:32
Speaker 9: Yeah.
01:04:33
Speaker 3: No.
01:04:33
Speaker 5: So you are voting Republican in the general election.
01:04:35
Speaker 3: People need to stop being embittered by losing in politics. It's part of the game. It's what you signed up for. Did I hear you ask in a second? Follow up.
01:04:43
Speaker 14: Well, I was just going to say at this point, I don't honestly sometimes I don't understand because it gets confusing to people. I think it's confusing people who aren't as involved in politics when we say we have the Senate. But when you look at how the Senate actually votes, there's always four Republicans.
01:04:57
Speaker 3: That's a good point.
01:04:57
Speaker 2: Endlessly.
01:04:57
Speaker 3: Endlessly.
01:04:58
Speaker 5: Hugely frustrating.
01:05:00
Speaker 14: And then you're like and then I like I'm going to my normie friends. I'm like, you don't understand. We really don't have the Senate. Yes, there's four or five Republicans in there that are under the banner.
01:05:07
Speaker 3: But look at how they vote.
01:05:09
Speaker 14: If you look at their actual actions, they may as well be Democrats.
01:05:11
Speaker 5: I mean, it is one of the most frustrating. It is one of the most frustrating things in the world that there's a lot of people. There are people out there who will not vote because they'll say President Trump betrayed us on the SAVE Act. And it is no President Trump endlessly fought for the SAVE Act. demanded the save act how old for the save act lobbied for the save act and there are a bunch of republicans who just say we're not going to get rid of the filibuster to do it so we're not going to pass it and deep down i think a lot of them just didn't want to pass it and they pretended.
01:05:37
Speaker 3: Otherwise you got mcconnell you've got lisa murkowski uh susan collins is somebody you can work with yeah we like susan in in a broader sense she's not like part of the tribe or anything.
01:05:48
Speaker 5: Susan collins is always allowed to be as moderate as she needs to be to get elected because she's always there when we really need her Yep.
01:05:55
Speaker 3: But the point is very well made. There is economic illiteracy in the country that drives me nuts. People don't understand basic supply and demand. They don't understand where inflation comes from. And the other thing that really drives me nuts is that people don't understand that Trump is not a king. You know, they do these no kings protests.
01:06:10
Speaker 5: Trump himself might sometimes wish he was.
01:06:12
Speaker 3: I mean, he wishes he was probably, but he's not. You know, we have a constitutional republic and he cannot. OK, for example.
01:06:19
Speaker 5: The masses cry out.
01:06:20
Speaker 3: People get really upset about the spending in Washington. I get really upset about the spending in Washington. Here's the thing. If you're upset about the spending levels in Washington, the answer is to not go give power back to the Democrats. It's to vote in more Republicans because our margins were too narrow. And as you made a great point here, we had about four senators that would just go rogue and we had to throw them all these goodies to get them to vote for anything. So if you want conservative governance, we need more conservatives. This is one of the reasons why I'm really in favor of getting rid of the 17th Amendment. Because senators need to get elected by the state legislature. We've got to stop saying get rid of an amendment because it will not happen. And so I don't want to give people copium. The point is we need more, not less. We need to enforce our numbers, reinforce that we need the cavalry to come in. All right. So the cavalry to come in. Elizabeth.
01:07:13
Speaker 9: Next.
01:07:13
Speaker 3: Elizabeth. Welcome to the show. Please unmute yourself.
01:07:17
Speaker 1: Hi, Blake.
01:07:18
Speaker 12: Hi, Andrew. How are you?
01:07:19
Speaker 5: We're doing great.
01:07:20
Speaker 3: Doing great. Thank you.
01:07:22
Speaker 12: The reason I was calling is I didn't think we got enough attention by any conservative media that there are a lot of really great propositions on the ballot. Like, for example, in Alaska, Prop 2 is to get rid of ranked choice voting. And also there were some propositions in Colorado that Like, for example, if you are found guilty of trafficking a minor, it would be like an automatic life sentence in prison. And I want to know if you guys, because you know more about these things than I do, other really good propositions on the ballot that might help bring out low-propensity voters.
01:07:59
Speaker 5: 100%.
01:07:59
Speaker 1: 100%.
01:08:00
Speaker 5: So first of all, you're correct, and this is a big reason to turn out, even if you're in a state that you think is not competitive, like Colorado. We're not flipping a Senate seat there. I don't even know if their governor's up, but And their house seats are pretty gerrymandered. So not a lot of big national races, but you can make your state better by... making them tougher on crime. Alaska ranked choice voting. I looked that passed super narrowly. It failed to be repealed two years ago, super narrowly. Now maybe people are realizing what a scam ranked choice voting is with the Dan Sullivan, the decoy Dan stuff. We need to get rid of that. We just need to keep trying and they've got to do it because through initiated measures, I don't think the legislature can do it. You guys got to vote for it. There's another one. We actually got an email. I want to shout this out from Joni. She pointed out that Prop 39 is on the ballot in California. That is voter ID, mandatory voter ID. Polls are all over the place on this one. There's some that have it losing by 20, some that have it winning by 11. I don't think it's well polled, but I think when you get normal Democrat voters who don't really get the memo of how expensive it is. their party is, they read, oh, should you require ID to vote? They shrug and they go, yeah, of course. So if you're in California, even if you're in a House seat, we're not going to win. You need to be turning out to vote. You need to be turning out to vote for things like this, because even in 2020, when California was as blue as it would possibly be, They tried to legalize racial discrimination in that state with a ballot measure, and it failed. It failed because normal Democrats recoiled at what their party was trying to do. So there's a lot of good measures like that all around the country. Your state might have a right-to-life measure or a pro-abortion one. You should be voting on those. There's voter ID stuff. There are so many things. We can't highlight all of them because it's state-by-state. Every state's different. But I'm glad you flagged those, too.
01:09:45
Speaker 3: Yeah, Prop 39 is the big one in California, and that really can pass, and it would amend the California Constitution to require government-issued ID for in-person voting.
01:09:54
Speaker 5: And they have such ridiculous lies where they're like, it would cost us hundreds of millions of dollars to implement this burdensome requirement to have an ID. They spent hundreds of millions of dollars on an environmental study. Think about how many feet of high-speed rail that money could run. That high-speed rail that will never be built.
01:10:08
Speaker 3: Who's up next?
01:10:09
Speaker 5: Let's do, how about, let's, David, let's get David up.
01:10:16
Speaker 16: Hey, how are you doing?
01:10:17
Speaker 5: Doing great. What's your question?
01:10:19
Speaker 16: My question is, I actually have two questions, but I see there's a lot of people, so I'll just ask one. I'm also in California, and my advice, I want to know what's your advice. Say you don't get what you want in this election. What's your advice to keep going? Because you just talked about John Cornyn and the GOP, and it doesn't seem like things get done. What is Turning Point's actions, advice?
01:10:54
Speaker 3: Well, are you considering leaving California, or are you a lifer?
01:11:00
Speaker 16: That's a good question. I have no answer for that right now.
01:11:06
Speaker 3: Well, if you're going to stay in California, then the key thing is to fight locally. and to organize locally. So for example, we have different GOPs throughout the state of California that have contacted us to white label our Turning Point Action app, which is something you can do. You can put your own county GOP logo on it. People can download it from the app store and use all the data, all the tools that we've built over here at Turning Point Action. So there's county GOPs all over California doing this on a volunteer basis. Now, it's not a state we're going to invest hard resources in because we have to think about ROI and use in stewarding our resources in, in the best way possible, the most efficient way possible. So unfortunately we can't do that for you, but look at what Steve Hilton is doing. He's mobilizing a massive groundswell. Steve Hilton, he could very well lose the governorship, but ensure the proposition 39 gets enforced. And what that does is it's a brick on brick approach that prop 39 getting passed. might ensure that other conservatives can be elected in the state of California in the future. So you've got to think of it incrementally in a state like California. The problem is too big to fix it in one cycle. So it's local, it's school boards, it's local races, local congressional races, and then fighting for these incremental wins on the statewide level. Because California, people don't realize this, things change very quickly. You know, we might have an election where we have Michelle Tafoya winning in Minnesota. Kathy Hochul, believe it or not, is like up against it against Bruce Blakeman in New York. You could have Sununu win the Senate seat in New Hampshire, Susan Collins in Maine. You might have this weird little inverted map, and that should give you inspiration that anything can change in politics. Things are cyclical. Put it that way. So keep fighting the good fight. You don't know when those investments are going to pay dividends. Yeah, we got Halloween coming up this weekend.
01:13:07
Speaker 5: Which I know. Some people are anti-Halloween.
01:13:09
Speaker 3: Do a harvest festival. Do it.
01:13:11
Speaker 1: It's great.
01:13:12
Speaker 5: At least eat a bunch of candy and get a stomachache.
01:13:14
Speaker 3: And you do the trunk or treats and things like that.
01:13:17
Speaker 5: I despise trunk or treating.
01:13:18
Speaker 3: It's not my thing either. It's so lame. We have a big plan for our kids. We ended up buying them two different costumes because the girls decided they wanted to be cheerleaders.
01:13:28
Speaker 5: To me, real trick-or-treating needs to be a priority for American governance. It's a matter of maintaining your community. And if you think your neighborhood is too unsafe to do trick-or-treating, one, you're probably wrong. But two, that should be a core law and order element. Our goal, we should have Bukele-ism if it is necessary to have cities where you can go trick-or-treating to your neighbor's house.
01:13:49
Speaker 3: It's a really interesting point. It's a reflection on relative cultural cohesion and safety and neighborly trust.
01:13:55
Speaker 5: And have a national task force to find people who steal entire bowls of candy. Those people, they might need to get life in prison.
01:14:02
Speaker 3: And if you don't speak English and you're raiding our Medicare and Medicaid programs and then you raid bowls of Treats.
01:14:09
Speaker 5: That said, you shouldn't do bowls of treats. You should be handing them out to people. Anyway, we have Mary. We lost Mary, but we have her question. She was asking us, do you think it is possible to flip Minnesota red? One, yes, even though it's a blue tilting state. And, you know, famous last words. Maybe we'll lose, but we have a lot of signs, a lot of ordinary people in Minnesota. They've seen their state become a national laughingstock because of how corrupt its blue state government is. that their state is getting absolutely looted by Somali fraudsters, and the only reaction of their state government is, we should try to make it illegal to expose this. So many people are angry.
01:14:48
Speaker 3: It is a poster child of fraud and poor governance. And Michelle Tafoya, she's a great candidate.
01:14:54
Speaker 1: She's run well.
01:14:55
Speaker 3: She's a really good candidate. And Penny Flanagan is a radical, trans-loving... nutcase. She's not a popular candidate.
01:15:03
Speaker 5: It's the perfect storm for where you can get an upset in what's otherwise a tough year. That weak candidate in party power, strong candidate in the challenging party, and a lot of dysfunction in the state, which can boil over and make it significantly to the right of where it normally would be in the country as a whole. And so, gotta fight hard in Minnesota, but And we're just going to keep saying it. If you're in Minnesota, your state is a joke for the entire country. And you can help fix that by turning out the Democrats. So next, we have Elizabeth, the other Elizabeth. So Elizabeth, unmute yourself. And what's your question?
01:15:43
Speaker 17: Good morning, guys. So in the 2022 midterms, being from Arizona, I experienced issues at the polls. I had to go through the polls three times to vote. to cast my vote. The ballot machine or reader would not read my vote. And it was not just happening to me, there were a bunch of us kind of looking around at each other being sent through twice, three times. And by the third time, they basically turned me away and said, we'll just take your ballot, put it in this box, and we'll take it downtown to be read, which I was not super comfortable with. But I didn't have any other recourse at the time, I didn't know what to do. So I know lightning never really strikes the same place twice. I'm not expecting that to happen to me again.
01:16:33
Speaker 12: But I.
01:16:35
Speaker 17: Just want to make other Arizonans aware that things do go awry, because I know it didn't happen to my husband. He was at a different polling location to vote in the 2022 election. But what can we be looking out for? And if we experience something suspiciously off at the polls. What is our recourse? What do we do? Because I know we can't like start taking pictures and videos in the polling place. I was told we can go live outside and, you know, start taking to social media airwaves and things like that. But if there's a call we can make or something like that when something's off.
01:17:16
Speaker 3: Well, yeah. And I just want to take everybody's mind back for a moment to 2022 where you had The ballots didn't fit right and the paper issues because they were the wrong size. And it's crazy that somebody like yourself went to three different polling places to ensure that they got their ballot in. How many people just turned away and said, I got to go back to work? I got to drop my... I was just at one place.

Speaker 17: I was just at one place and they sent me through the line three times. They gave me a new ballot three times to fill out and all three times... my ballot would not be read. And it was just at the one location. I did not go to three separate locations. It was just the same location, but I had to go through the line three times. And I wasn't the only one. There were several of us. And we're all looking at each other like we knew who we were voting for.
01:18:05
Speaker 5: Well, first of all, this is a reason to emphasize it's a good idea. If you're still able to early vote this weekend, you can early vote in person. It's just like voting on election day. We encourage that for reasons like this.
01:18:18
Speaker 3: If you can.
01:18:19
Speaker 5: Some states, they close it off over the weekend. But in Arizona, I believe you still can. You certainly still can today. Today you can. And so we encourage get those ballots in. You can drop them off at drop boxes. Get them in. They're banked. We don't have to worry about turning you out on Election Day. And it also protects you against these Election Day issues. If you do see something suspicious and the range of that is so wide... I don't even want to make a specific forecast of what it would be. But if something seems off to you, make sure, even if you can't take photos, either me, you can record a video of yourself outside, take notes, record very specifically what happened because that evidence would be useful.
01:18:57
Speaker 3: Yeah, you need to record it. You need to document it. Track your ballot. So you have my.arizona.vote. You can contact the county recorder. So if you're in Maricopa, Justin Heap is fantastic. So you can call them 602-506-1511. That's 602-506-1511. And report it immediately. And if there is systemic issues across the valley, that's going to pile up. We're going to hear about it very quickly. We're going to be monitoring it like crazy. You better believe it the morning of. So we're going to be a resource for that, just like we were in 2022. And just immediately go to a poll worker. Immediately go to a poll worker. There's going to be observers at all of these locations. Trust me, in Maricopa specifically, in Arizona specifically. So you've got resources at your disposal, but definitely contact a poll worker. And to Blake's point, document it, document it, document it. And if you have to record a video on social media, if you have to make a phone call, those are the things you have to do. Be vigilant. Absolutely. So it's going to vary by state, but you just definitely take care of it immediately. Yeah.
01:20:09
Speaker 5: Final question. Catherine, you only have 50 seconds. What's your question?
01:20:14
Speaker 12: How can we ensure that all Americans understand that our vote is our voice and that no vote is no voice?
01:20:21
Speaker 17: That sounds like a great slogan, but we don't hear enough of that.
01:20:26
Speaker 5: We're screaming it from the rooftops every day that the only way you can directly impact what's going on is by voting. It's not by attending rallies. It's not by complaining online. You have to actually go vote. And we're going to keep repeating it because that That's how you save your country.
01:20:40
Speaker 3: This is why President Trump's barnstorming the country, honestly. He deserves a lot of appreciation for getting out there and making sure everybody gets the message. It's just about energy. Get out and vote so we don't have bloody revolution in the streets.
