Where are your fountains? Are they in material things, physical fitness, relationships, career success, reputation, family name, or personal identity? In today’s episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef reflects on Psalm 87:7 and the joyful confession of every surrendered believer: “All my fountains are in you.”
Everything in this world is unstable. Financial markets rise and fall. Friends and family—even Christian friends—may fail us. Titles, reputations, and accomplishments can fade. But the grace of God never fails. The peace Christ purchased at the cross will never run dry because it flows from His inexhaustible fountain of grace.
Dr. Youssef explains that true peace means being bound together by the unearned, unmerited love of God. Only His matchless grace can bind a fragmented heart, restore broken relationships, reconcile families and communities, and make believers ambassadors of His eternal Kingdom. Jesus is the Rock of Ages and the source of living water, promising that rivers of living water will flow from within all who believe in Him.
When your hope is rooted in Christ alone, you will never run dry. You will become a peacemaker, a messenger of grace, and a true friend to the lost as you share the hope that never disappoints.
Prayer: God, I pray that all my fountains would be in You alone. Thank You for Your inexhaustible fountain of grace. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
