America at 250: Capitol Hill Is This Man’s “Mission Field”

As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, singer Steve Amerson encourages Christians to pray for the nation and for the men and women serving in Washington, D.C. Known by some as “America’s Tenor,” Steve has sung on more than 175 feature films and has also ministered through music at Billy Graham Crusades.

Twice a month, Steve travels to Capitol Hill to help lead worship in Statuary Hall and encourage members of Congress through prayer and handwritten notes. Listen as he shares why he believes the greatest battle in Washington is spiritual, not political—and how Christians can encourage their representatives during this historic milestone.
