It certainly is a remarkable. 00:02:31 Speaker 5: Course of events. 00:02:32 Speaker 4: I can't say that it's super shocking, given the nature and the tension inside of the press corps at the White House. And I think it certainly is a well-needed adjustment and change. And I think it'll open the eyes of a lot of people, both in the media and in the public, that free press is still alive and well, and people like Real America's Voice are ready to carry that torch across the finish line. And so How this came about, you know, kind of honestly, it kind of came about the same way it did for a lot of people, a little bit by surprise. You know, it really started out with a late middle of the night phone call for a last minute request to deploy resources over to New York, traveling with the president. And the last 24, 48 hours for me has been a little bit of a whirlwind, tons of calls from media and other individuals, not only asking for like you just did, the story behind what's happening and how this happened, but then asking for what's next and how do we get access to this coverage, to these feeds? Because as we've said publicly, and we'll continue to say and hold up, our goal here is to make sure that we can provide constant, unadulterated coverage of everything that the president and this administration is doing through the truthful lens. And that's what we're going to do. And I think, you know, we've been prepared to do this since day one. We have the infrastructure in order to do it. We have the personnel in order to do it. I think we all kind of knew there was a moment in time as President Trump got back into the White House that this was kind of a ticking time bomb, so to speak, with the mainstream media and the admin and then obviously the components of the independent media. So we've been prepared since day one. Jack Posobiec, I want to bring you in here, host of Human Events Daily. It comes on immediately after this show, and you're doing a great job, Jack. Something Parker said, two things actually, Parker Sig, Executive Vice President of Real America's Voice, that He thinks this is going to shake it up. This is actually a good thing for the country to see that these press are not this, you know, this priestly class that only they can do this job. All of a sudden, you know, they come in and they handle the job. They're doing a great job. And by the way, it's not propaganda. They're just providing this feed, unadulterated feed so everybody can see it. And that this is going to shake things up. But it's also been a ticking time bomb is something that Parker said. Can you expound on your perspective of this? Because you're always covering the White House. You're always on the grounds. You're traveling. with this administration. Explain what he might mean by that. 00:06:16 Speaker 6: Well, so what's going on here, Andrew, is that what Parker's done and what Real Marker's voice have done is so phenomenal because what it's done is show that the mainstream media cartel doesn't have the leverage that they used to have over the White House. 00:06:31 Speaker 2: If you go back 30 years. 00:06:32 Speaker 6: Ago, the 1990s, and I've seen a number of people who are sort of from that dinosaur era of the blockbuster video era, if you will, of media, where they think that broadcast TV is the only way that people can get their news and newspapers and all the rest. They don't seem to understand that new media has the ability to completely disintermediate their power and their leverage. That's why the cartelization of these groups that control access to the White House and specifically the White House pooled which is a smaller pool, and they're playing a lot of nomenclature games, a smaller pool of people. Those are the ones that get to have access to the president, to cabinet members, to the vice president, to be able to ask questions. And, of course, we saw this under Caroline Leavitt and Trump's new White House coming in specifically in the second term, although they were good in the first term. The second term created that new media seat, which, of course, I've been honored to be utilized in many times to go along with the president on a variety of these trips. I was up there in the United Nations. I wasn't in the pool on that, but I was covering it on Monday. And the idea that. that they would drop this coverage, which is in the public interest. The public has a right to know what the president is doing when he's meeting with Zelensky, and Rav covered that. The public has a right to see what the president says when he's going to meet Xi Jinping this very evening at Andrews Air Force Base, and Rav is going to cover that as well. Anything the president's doing, if it's open to the press, the public has a right to know. So that's in the public interest. And the media, this is how the broadcast networks had so much leverage over past administrations because they could say, we'll cut you off. We'll cut off your ability to talk to the public. Well, now with the rise of new media, whether it be social media, whether it be podcasts, of course, like this show and what Rav does in terms of distribution has shown that not only do we have other abilities, but in fact, we can do your job just as good. Honestly, I would even go so far as to say a little bit better because I think the color, the lighting on our shots are just a little bit more dialed in than what CNN was doing. 00:08:34 Speaker 2: I actually totally agree, by the way. I was going back and forth with a bunch of content creators, influencers, people with big accounts, and they're like, man, watching President Trump get off of. The helicopter, for example. Like, the framing is better. The lighting is better. It's more dramatic. 00:08:53 Speaker 7: The real truth is, I had this thought because it was the 9-11 anniversary, so we were all watching old clips. I was looking at CNN from 25 years ago, and accounting for, obviously, the improvement of camera technology, CNN was so better. They got totally ruined by Trump because he fried their brain. He made it. You're watching this extremely angry broadcast all the time, and the people who make their chyrons are angry. The people who set up their camera shots are angry. 00:09:16 Speaker 2: Yep. It's... Yeah, there used to be a sense of gravitas and awe that was approached with these pool feeds. Jack, I wanted to have you on because you've been so good about championing the way that Parker and the team have stepped into the void, stepped into the breach, and just taken this on. And they've done an amazing job. But Parker, what we were just talking about with Jack, the beauty of the shots... It seems like it's already I can see that it's like this is being done by people that have a respect for the office. It's not propaganda. It's just it's care. It's that people care about what they're witnessing, the history that's unfolding and being documented by the pool feed. Now, talk to us about that. Is that something you guys talked about specifically or is that just happened? organically? 00:10:02 Speaker 4: Well, look, I think there's a lot of it that's organic just because of the culture that we have built into this ecosystem and the people that we choose to employ here and bring a part of our team. But it's definitely a part of the conversation. I mean, everybody who works with Rav and for Rav and is inside of this ecosystem is so profoundly dedicated to the mission and the cause and care about the product that we put out and covering the the president and the administration in the best light possible. Again, we've had conversations and said, hey, this, you know, we need to make sure that we have everything buttoned up as much as possible. But it really goes without saying. Our team, I refer to them as a media militia, right? I mean, at the drop of a pen, we can be up and moving and getting cameras ready to go and getting a shot up live immediately. And the shot quality is is going to be good, right? I'm not necessarily making any claims or accusations, but there's been times where we've seen other pool feeds by some of the mainstream media where the color balance, the white balance is so profusely off that in my mind, there's no way it could have been a mistake. I mean, I could understand a little tweak here or there, But, you know, you always wonder, is some of that a little bit intentional? And that's where, from our side, I mean, we... are dedicated to providing, again, full, unfeathered access at the best, highest quality possible of the president and this administration to everybody we possibly can, whether that's the general public, which we've been doing for years, and also every media outlet that you can think of, whether that's the left or the right. 00:11:54 Speaker 5: It doesn't really matter. 00:11:54 Speaker 4: We want to make sure that the president's message can be shared as broadly as we can. And just to stay for the record here, You know, this this isn't something that we are getting paid for. Huge, huge honor and obligation and a burden, really. We did not get into this business to go make a buck. We did not get into this business to grow influence or anything of that sort. We got in this business because there's a fight to be had for the sanctity of our country and the protection of all of our you know, amendments and everything else, right? So we're not getting paid for this pool feed. Matter of fact, as you said, if you want to look at it a certain way, there is an increased burden on us. 00:13:15 Speaker 5: More resources, more people, more time. 00:13:18 Speaker 4: And we're prepared to take that battle up. And again, it's because we care so deeply about this country. We care so deeply about this president and this administration. We care so deeply about our faith and which is the antithesis of everything that we do. It's so deeply rooted in our faith, which is why, again, to talk about Charlie, why I looked up to him as much as I did is his strength that was rooted in faith. Um, so we're, we're going to continue to fight this battle, no matter what front it's on, no matter what it looks like, no matter the cost, the amount we're going to continue to push on and do everything that we can in our power to, to fight, to protect this country, uh, and, and make sure that there is a brighter future, uh, for our children, for someday if I have children. And that's really our goal and our mission. 00:14:14 Speaker 2: Amen. And Jack, just explain the type of week that this happened on with the UN, President Xi. I mean, this was about as high stakes a week as this could have happened on. And Real America's voice is rising to the occasion. He's obviously making the things that he says are world news, the things that the people who he's meeting with, the conversations that he's having, whether it's with Zelensky, whether it's with The Gulf Cooperation Council, the GCC, does he meet with the Iranians? Does he see Pazeshkin, the Iranian president, et cetera, et cetera? These are all world news. And, of course, he's going to be meeting with Xi Jinping later this evening on the tarmac at Joint Base Andrews. And this is the first time, I believe, that it's happened since the 1960s that a president has actually gone out there to meet another world leader who's coming in on the tarmac. Real America's Voice is the only game in town that's going to be providing this feed. And a pool feed, by the way, is just that. It's just that raw footage that goes up of the president. There's going to be no chyrons on it. There's going to be no ads. It's provided completely free of charge, no logos, anything like that. It just goes out for the world as a public service. I'm an American, and I believe in the First Amendment, and I believe absolutely the public has a right to this information. And it shows the power of building parallel institutions. TPUSA was a parallel institution, a counter institution that Charlie Kirk built into the massive behemoth that it is because there wasn't a youth organization around conservative American values. This guy's, what is it, Wilbur Perez? How do you say it? 00:22:12 Speaker 7: Garces Perez? I don't know these names from people who shouldn't be here. He was shot. 00:22:16 Speaker 2: He's an illegal from Venezuela. It's another illegal. And so everybody comes out from the– because people need to remember, Austin is like California. So any of the politics in California, just assume that's what Austin is like. Tell us what the initial response was, and then how did this lead to the rioting? What do we know now, Saf? 00:22:36 Speaker 8: Sure, Andrew. 00:22:36 Speaker 10: So this happened in North Austin. And, of course, the DSA very heavily involved in these protests and immediately getting a bunch of people out to shut down the intersections, to throw water bottles at police officers, rocks at vehicles. And a lot of people, too, were watching this unfold because— rioters and protesters basically took over the intersection where this shooting occurred. Now, keep in mind that our city councilman, Mike Segal, who is DSA aligned, he immediately came out and told a CBS reporter that an ICE agent sideswiped Wilbur Perez. Uh, yeah, if you have four last names, I'm just going to go with the first and last. So we're just going to call this guy Wilbur Perez. Sorry if that's incorrect, but, um, Our DSA-aligned city councilman immediately came out and said that I sideswiped this guy and then shot him through his windshield five times. CBS then went on to later quietly delete that information, but not before it was already distributed to the city. So all of our elected leaders, the same ones who don't care about the fact that our city is completely overrun with crime and homelessness, a huge drug problem, all of those leaders came forward. You had Congressman Greg Cesar that was stoking tensions and saying that this is horrible and that We can't imagine that this happened in Austin. People were upset. They obviously went to the location. They took it over. The police really don't do anything when it comes to protests in Austin, because back in 2020, during the BLM riots, our own DA went and prosecuted the police officers who were using non-lethal munitions to try to disperse the rioters that at that point were taking over the I-35. So this is our major interstate. It was very dangerous for them to be at the location. But as they were trying to disperse them, the DA went and prosecuted them. So that's why, fast forward to 2026, you see the scene like you're seeing right now, where you have people taking over an entire intersection. You have Austin residents who can't even use their own roads without fear of having rocks thrown at them or fear of being surrounded by rioters and a mob. Because APD has their hands tied. Our leaders continue to foment this chaos. And something that I got yesterday was exclusive footage from a surveillance company here in Austin. Now, they reached out to me about this because they stated that DHS had this information, but they knew that local media or mainstream media, mind you, because I guess I'm local media, mainstream media was not going to do anything with this. So what you're seeing on screen is a high speed pursuit of Wilbur Perez as two DHS vehicles with their sirens and their lights flashing are pursuing him. Now, Wilbur Perez initially came out. 00:25:16 Speaker 3: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on. 00:25:18 Speaker 2: Wait, no. I was told that this guy was just a door dash delivery. 00:25:22 Speaker 7: And I saw him and they just pulled the gun out, rolled up, shot him through. 00:25:27 Speaker 2: The window multiple times. And that it's just the Gestapo doing Gestapo things. I'm just looking at this. Are we sure this has been confirmed that this was the suspect fleeing high speed chase style down the road trying to evade a rat? Are we sure, Savv? that this is what we're witnessing here. 00:25:48 Speaker 10: We are, unfortunately, for this illegal and his attorney's story, we are unfortunately sure that this is his vehicle as he is fleeing, not one, but two DHS vehicles that have their sirens blaring and their lights on. And by the way, if you look at this footage as well, at this point, it does not look like there is any damage to his vehicle. So I think that's an also... A very important point in this entire thing, because he gave us this whole sob story, right, that this aggressive driver, this unmarked SUV just sideswiped him out of nowhere. He had no idea what was going on. There was also new footage that came out because his attorney came forward and said that after he was shot, he was just pulled out of his vehicle and given no medical attention. You have new footage that came out as well that showed the EMT coming and, you know, very slowly taking him out of the vehicle and giving him medical attention because he had been shot at that point. But an idea of how Wilbur Perez was making our streets unsafe here in Austin, Texas, by being involved in a high speed pursuit. 00:26:47 Speaker 2: So let's let's just sum this up. OK, so you've got these crazy Democrats who don't give a crap about their own citizens dying of drug overdoses getting shot getting rammed on the streets car insurance going up because illegals don't have car insurance they don't care about any of that they don't care about their own citizens living under a tyranny of dysfunction and chaos that they create but they care when an illegal who has no right who had a final detention order on him evades arrest, and endangers countless people on the street, could kill multiple people because he's fleeing at a high speed from law enforcement that has their lights flashing. They don't care about any of that. And here's the other thing that just drives me crazy. Why do you think Wilbur, whatever his name, Perez, was fleeing? Why? Because he has been told by liberal, radical left Democrats... That the people chasing him are Gestapo, they are illegitimate, and that they need to be defunded, and that all these illegals deserve amnesty. So he took it upon himself to flee because he's been told that it was morally justified to do so. 00:27:57 Speaker 7: No, I wouldn't even go that far. He's fleeing because he knows that these suckers will come out and fight for him no matter what he does, including if he is a despicable criminal. And you can see this. You guys should go, you should look up the CBS News write-up of this because it's actually really despicable. A Venezuelan man shot by an immigration officer while delivering a DoorDash order in Austin was transferred from the hospital to a detention center. So they're going with the, oh, he was out doing delivery and got shot. They're about to vote here in city council in Austin to continue funding another, I want to say, $ 600, 000 plus to immigration services. Former city councilman and current Congressman Greg Cesar, back in 2020, defunded by our police by a third, so took $ 150 million away from our police department, got rid of 180 police positions, so our city is as unsafe as it's ever been. But if I'm having an argument with people on the Internet, it's like, dude, we're supposed to be solution oriented by definition. That's like why we're supposed to be here. But typically what you find when you're arguing with these people is that they don't actually care about all of the wins. And if you point the wins out to them, they actually take offense to it because what they think is that you're not actually engaging with their feelings. You're not validating how anxious I am, Andrew, which must mean that you aren't as concerned about these problems as I am. And so they take it to be like an attack on their identity as a dissident or as a concerned American or something where it's like, look, dude, we're all here because we want to solve the problems. By the grace of God, we have an administration which seems to share those concerns and be working towards them. So why are we dooming and glooming? Is it just for social media engagement? Or just arguing with your neurotic girlfriend. I think that was the best comparison. And I think it's very strong. I think you're correct, John. And it gets me thinking about it's the upsides and downsides of what we've seen on the right, which is that we talked to Scott Greer, for example, about White Pill, how we had people– online influencers, podcasters were able to mainstream ideas that the political class wasn't supplying. But what that means is you have people who are often leading voices in your movement because they're good entertainers, because maybe their mental model of themselves is just, I'm a dissident, I'm a truth teller, I'm this anti-establishment person. Instead of, let's be real, we are a political movement. What you need is people who are oriented on the axis of, getting political wins. It's something Charlie was so great at, that when we're out of power, we're articulating what do we want, what should we do when we get power back, and when we're in power, how do we get the most out of that? But as you say, John, there's other people who It's like the wins are beside the point for them that they really just need. 00:45:25 Speaker 2: They want, they want the. 00:45:26 Speaker 7: News to set up justifications for them to signal how based they are or how angry and emotive they are. And they get angry when you point out wins. And they sort of like wash up here. as a temporary way to satiate their need for attention. And so ultimately, like their primary concern isn't. 00:46:12 Speaker 5: About the political win. 00:46:13 Speaker 13: In fact, the political win works against them because when Americans feel good about the state of their country, they're not tuning into conservative podcasts. They're not watching conservative influencers on Instagram. They're not looking for political solutions because. To them, it doesn't seem like we have really tremendous political problems. And so these people actually have a direct incentive personally and financially, professionally, to pour gasoline on all of these problems, inflame them, make them seem bigger than they are, that there is no solution. 00:46:40 Speaker 5: The best thing you. 00:46:41 Speaker 13: Can do is to listen to me and subscribe to my podcast and so on. But if these problems are being solved, now all of a sudden people might tune out. They might look elsewhere for entertainment. And so, yeah, it's a really bad incentive structure where the only thing we have you know, to hope for, for these influencers, that their heart is just in the right place and they ignore the financial incentive and the personal incentive to just pour gas on all these problems. And they're just, you know, maybe their heart's in the right place. I think we see overwhelmingly that's not the case, which is the problem when, like you're saying, Blake, you know, the movement becomes staffed with all of these influencers to act as kind of the priest class, the reporting class, where we're deriving our epistemology from. 00:47:18 Speaker 5: These people are not reliable at all. 00:47:20 Speaker 2: You know, it feels like more and more, we're sort of beholden to the algorithm. You know, we can have all these conversations about free speech. Yes, to be very clear, we are free speech maximalists. We can have all these arguments about censorship and all this stuff, but it does feel like, at some level, we're just beholden to the algo. Like, it doesn't matter what platform. It's like it just kind of tends to reward obscenities. It rewards absurdities. It rewards conspiracies. Drama. So how do we, like, fight against that, I guess? It's like more and more. That's just the question you have to ask. 00:47:53 Speaker 13: You know, fortunately, I do think we're beginning to see some kind of correction. I think that people are getting really tired of the last year with everybody just lying and slandering each other and, you know, calling into question everybody's integrity, because the idea with free speech and like talking about these ideas that the political class used to ignore was that finally we can get to the truth. Finally, we can all really understand what's going on and we can all just speak about these things honestly and engage with the ideas. But instead, people are lying now more than ever. People are more confused now than ever. And it's because these influencers aren't doing that. They'll advertise themselves as the real truth tellers who aren't being controlled by them. But actually, all they do is lie. And then when you call them out for lying, they're like, what are you, anti free speech or something? 00:48:34 Speaker 5: And it's like, I don't know. 00:48:35 Speaker 13: I guess I agree with the founding fathers and that I agree with free speech. And so, yeah, you know, the founding fathers who obviously are very famously pro-free speech, they were also very much so in favor of severe consequences for people who lied about other people specifically for their own gain. So if we can return to that, that kind of, you know, gentlemanly impulse toward the truth will be a lot better off. 00:49:03 Speaker 5: But these people aren't. They're just liars. And it does feel like the internet has just made thieves of so many people. But what's also so annoying, I would say, is these wins that our own base, for lack of a better term, they're not grateful enough about it. That you got a 100% secure border, something that seemed unthinkable for decades, that we would just slam the door on the Mexican border, no one knew was coming in, so any deportations are absolutely lowering the number of illegals. And that's barely an issue in the midterms. Is there any sort of way that you can communicate the fact that actually things are just incredibly better than they were in 2020, 2021, 2022? They don't understand how unbelievable it is that the progress we've made has manifested such at the federal level, throughout the state level, as the GOP sort of imposes itself on the public like it's just so much progress has been made and people seem to think that like oh you know if we just got a democrat back in maybe things wouldn't be so bad and it's like not only would things be immediately bad again but they would definitely work to make sure that we never had another shot to right the ship ever again that's why they're talking about putting all of Trump's top allies in prison. 00:51:28 Speaker 5: That's why they tried to put him in prison. 00:51:30 Speaker 13: Like, and it's tough to communicate that to voters because you're asking them to be satisfied with the progress. However, objectively speaking, things are not as good for them as they were decades ago in terms of the average, you know, quality of life an American could expect. And so I think it just really has to be emphasized. You know, obviously we understand things aren't perfect, but they are getting a lot better. And just remember how recently things were really bad. And you do just kind of have to trust us. That's kind of what J.D. You know, we rejected neocons. We rejected the open border lobby. We rejected the business needs, unlimited, you know, cheap labor folks. We we rejected the perpetual foreign war folks as well. And I'm not necessarily labeling these two people, but I noticed that you took note of at least one of these. And these are these are our friends. But this is this is what I think is happening, too. It's like people that. you know, want sane immigration. They don't want forever. Wars are getting lumped in with the neocons because we're rejecting this doomerism too. But it's interesting. I noticed you, you kind of mixed it up with Joel Berry. So he tried to be sneaky and put up this one 63. He put up a quote of, it's actually Washington. So he says, America should welcome immigrants, not only the wealthy, but the oppressed and persecuted from all nations and religions. They all deserve to participate in America's rights and privileges. Okay. So, That's actually a Washington quote. You called him on it and you basically filled in the blanks. You said the rest of the quote goes, if by decency and propriety of conduct, conduct, they appear to merit the enjoyment. So I love that you are not just taking it to taking some people to task because they're conspiracy nuts or horseshoe people, but you're also holding the line on some of the fundamental fabric that built this coalition from the beginning. Why is that important to kind of fight it on both sides, John? 00:53:46 Speaker 5: Well, because we want to tell the truth. So Joel Berry was trying to do it back and say, OK, well, here's a quote from Washington about how we should accept immigrants and blah, blah, blah. And nobody takes the bait. But curiously, he omits the last part of that quote. Literally, there's a comma that says, supposing they have earned it through their demonstration of customs and character and so on. And I don't think that he did that, by the way. I don't think Joel Berry cut that out. And I think that means if Joel Berry looks at that and doesn't recognize it as being subversive and thinks, aha, see, Washington would agree with me. I think that's a bit of a problem. Yeah, there are things that have happened that people aren't happy about. Some of the prices haven't come down as fast. Some people are very unhappy about the Iran thing. Yeah, I get it. But we're at the point where we're actually, we've got the Chinese coming to the table. They're not bullying us. They're not pushing us around. And it's just win after win. A Venezuelan oil deal that puts America effectively in control of 60% of the known fossil fuel reserves, that's some incredible stuff. As for AI, I'm not buying the doom and gloom. I know the Democrats want to try and use that as a tool. It just, you know, I can't be killed by AI. I already died from climate change. And oh, yeah, apparently Trump's budget cuts have stopped there from happening, having hurricanes. OK, and now they go through they go through a litany of things here, Kurt. The world's second largest economy. So the first was in 2017, the summit at Trump's Mar-a-Lago. And it says China was lagging on multiple fronts at that point, vulnerable to the tech and trade frictions Trump would unleash in the coming year. But now he arrives at the helm of a country that's transformed. The world's second largest economy has emerged as a tech heavyweight, homegrown tech talent is spurring Chinese AI models ever closer to Silicon Valley's frontier. Beijing-based space firms are launching and landing reusable rockets. with their site on global champion SpaceX. Companies from energy to AI, robots, and memory chips have launched blockbuster stock debuts in the past year. And they do make a point. China's manufacturing juggernaut racked up a $ 1. 2 trillion global trade surplus in the last year, due in large part to them leveraging supply chains, especially in rare earths, in their favor. Do you agree with CNN, or is this just... Are they just still bitter about what happened getting kicked out of the White House? 01:04:42 Speaker 7: Look, I. 01:04:44 Speaker 3: What do I know? With it, not only its access to all that oil, which powers the country, but its beachhead in the Western Hemisphere is gone. Oh, they're out of the Panama Canal, too. Its friend Iran has been neutered. People are saying, oh, the Iranians control the Strait of Hormuz. That's ridiculous. We control the Strait of Hormuz. And if we say China gets no oil, it gets no oil. And if China gets no oil, it's nothing. As far as the AI stuff, now that's my favorite part, because the next story on CNN will no doubt be AI is terrifying and horrible, and we can't build data centers. We can't do anything. We can't participate in the AI revolution at all. Oh, but China's doing great, because it is. It's all, I mean, it's CNN. What do you expect? It's nonsense. We are in a great position. We're in a strong position. If I had to choose one, I'd certainly choose the United States. over the People's Republic of China, a geriatric communist dictatorship that's teetering on the edge of revolution, it's only one bad crop failure away from having these communists overthrown. They may have a lot of high-tech stuff, but at the end of the day, they're a bunch of dictators, and they know they're living on a razor's edge. 01:06:23 Speaker 2: Well, yeah, and by the way, China's banking on their high-tech transformation to inject... momentum into what is overall a slowing economy. So China's actually got some headwinds there, too. And you're right. Xi is increasingly isolated from the political rivals, from other factions within the Chinese government. So there's a lot going on in China that CNN doesn't want to talk about. Now, on this AI thing, I think you and Blake probably agree, data centers, massively unpopular. And it feels like they did all this without anything happening. 01:07:03 Speaker 2: All of a sudden I'm seeing polls that like 20% of people like them and the rest hate them. I mean, this is. 01:07:08 Speaker 3: Well, look, I mean, you know, I don't want a sewage treatment plant in my neighborhood, but I definitely want a sewage treatment plant. And I get it. I don't want a data center in my neighborhood. Nobody does. That's one of the reasons they're going out into the country. 01:07:23 Speaker 7: There is a data center in my neighborhood. I looked it up. 01:07:24 Speaker 3: The other reason is they know that blue cities will keep them from building them. But yeah, okay. Yeah, they have some drawbacks. Those drawbacks can be ameliorated, and we're working to ameliorate them. But the idea that we're going to go back to the 20th century and as opposed to the 21st is just ridiculous. Okay, let's turn our attention to Iran. President Trump in his UN address said that he is facing some serious questions right now. Actually, I think we have that clip. Let's go ahead and play it. Or do I annihilate the Islamic Republic and do it quickly, never giving them a chance to kill and destroy people and countries again? And your personal capacity here, Kurt, what are you what are you seeing with Iran? And obviously that it creates political headwinds for the entire movement. Uh, I've been very candid about this from the jump actually. Um, but what are you looking at and what do you hope happens next? 01:09:07 Speaker 3: Well, I, I, I no longer work on the, for the Pentagon. Um, so I, I, I am always, and I, even when I, I always spoke for on my own, uh, and never about the work that I did. Um, Look, I am from a different generation than a lot of the TPUSA people. I grew up with the Iranians murdering, kidnapping, and mutilating Americans. And I want payback, and I want them gone. They are an existential threat. As soon as they have nuclear weapons, they will murder our allies, and they will murder as many Americans as they can. So I supported the war. Of course, I served in the military, so I kind of put my money where my mouth is. I'm not asking anybody to do anything I didn't do. On the other hand, not everybody agrees with me. And in large part, they have seen their trust in the foreign policy establishment completely evaporate after Afghanistan and Iran. These were disasters. They were poorly handled. A lot of Americans got killed. And a lot of Americans have a question, what the hell did they die for? And that's one that I can't answer. That's one that I think we can answer it for Iran. I would like to see this finished. I would like to see a victory. I would like to see the mullahs gone. Imagine the strategic change when you have Venezuela gone, Cuba's going to be gone, the mullahs are going to be gone, all of China's allies around the globe gone. getting rid of these running sores that have tormented the United States since before I was born. And dude, I am old AF. It is an opportunity I think we've got to take it. And I know there are people out there saying, hey, Trump said no more forever wars. My argument would be, hey, he didn't start this. He's finishing it. 01:11:01 Speaker 2: All right, Kurt, I'm going to play devil's advocate here because I've talked to too many of our kids. They don't want to be at war. They don't they feel like they got hoodwinked. They feel like they were told no new wars. They don't want to go serve overseas. They want to be able to buy a house. 01:11:18 Speaker 7: They feel this war wasn't sold to them, period. They were told the one wouldn't happen. And I don't think they got an explanation of why that changed. That was compelling to. 01:11:25 Speaker 8: Yeah. 01:11:26 Speaker 2: So, you know, I just I want to make sure because, listen, I understand what you're saying. But there's a whole a whole suite of arguments on the other side. So how do you how do you square that circle? 01:11:39 Speaker 3: Well, look, I was a lawyer for 30 years, so I'm used to people disagreeing with me. And I appreciate it when somebody puts the argument like you have, which is a very coherent one. And I get it. No, I understand. Now, I would argue this isn't a new war. This is a war that's been going on since 1979. 01:11:58 Speaker 2: Yeah, but, Kurt, right there, it feels like it started earlier this year. 01:12:05 Speaker 3: I get it. These are guys who were going to have nuclear weapons. Those nuclear weapons were going to kill Americans. And I think it was extremely courageous of Donald Trump to do something I don't think he wanted to do. I don't think he wants to be at war. He wants to be building the Golden Age. I don't want to be at war. I want to be building the Golden Age. But, you know, sometimes you are overcome by events. And we have been overcome by events. And I get that people don't want to go. You know, OK. 01:12:38 Speaker 2: So, Kurt— Sometimes you. 01:12:40 Speaker 3: Got to do stuff you don't want to do. And it is getting in the way of the things that we do want to do. We want to get affordability. We want to get people's houses. My gosh, you know, I can't go through a McDonald's drive-thru, order from a clown, and not pay 30 bucks. How the hell do people live paying 30 bucks for lunch for their family? I don't get it. It doesn't work. And we've got to deal with that. So I understand. But I think Donald Trump made the right call. 01:13:08 Speaker 2: So... Yeah, and we talk about– you said they were going to get nukes and they were going to kill Americans. So what do you say to the crowd that says we've been warned that they were going to be getting nukes for how many years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years? They never were there. So why was this time any different, first question? And when we talk about affordability, this has driven up gas prices, right? So how do you wrestle with that? 01:13:37 Speaker 3: Look, the breakout for building nuclear weapons in the Iranian regime was within the control of the Iranians. They could decide when to do it, and it was coming up on that time. They were also building a lot of conventional weapons, including ballistic missiles, to essentially do what North Korea did, which is create a conventional deterrent to stopping them from withholding nuclear weapons. We saw this all happen in North Korea in 1994. So we know how the game is played. These are people who literally want to kill us. I know that, and everyone should know that. By the way, they've literally killed us for over 40 years. As far as affordability, but, you know, Donald Trump's not going to get any credit for what doesn't happen. for preventing something. 01:14:35 Speaker 2: That I really agree with. 01:14:36 Speaker 3: He's going to be held to what people can see. And what people can see is affordability. And affordability is a huge problem. I don't understand how young people can live. 01:14:46 Speaker 2: I don't get it. It's too expensive. You know what drives up costs is when we spend like a bunch of drunken sailors and we don't balance our budget. Inflation can come from one place, and that is Washington, because only Washington can create money. And so when we're financing these wars, it is contributing to this underlying problem. What are we, $ 40 trillion in debt? I don't know. So the point is, I'm not dooming. I just want to hear a smart guy like yourself answer the difficult questions that our kids are faced with, that I'm faced with. So what's your answer to those things? That the cost is basically worth it and that this will- Yes. 01:15:22 Speaker 8: Yes. Okay. Yes. 01:15:22 Speaker 3: The cost is worth it in the short term. We should get it over with. Donald Trump is going to strangle them economically. I think that's the right way to go rather than overwhelming force. it's going to take time, it's going to take patience, and yeah, we're going to have to pay a little more. You know, let's talk about the debt. The military is about 12% of our debt. An even bigger chunk is interest on it. An even bigger chunk is handouts, including to people like me. Okay? I'm going to be able to get Social Security a lot sooner. 01:15:53 Speaker 2: Than I'd like. 01:15:54 Speaker 3: And I shouldn't be able to. 01:15:56 Speaker 8: I agree. Why should. 01:16:00 Speaker 3: Why should some young kid who's trying to start out, a 24-year-old, be paying me? I'm going to make like four or five grand a month off Social Security. Yeah, I put in my money. I get that part. But there's no trust fund. There's no lockbox. It's coming directly out of the pockets of some guy who just started as an HVAC repairman. And now he's subsidizing me. That doesn't work. We're going to have to change. how we look at government entitlements. And that includes EBT. That includes Medicare. That includes Social Security. And a lot of people my age are going to scream. But a lot of young people are, you know, they're going to have to be tough about things and say, no, you can't have free money for doing nothing. If they're not willing to do that, they're not going to solve the problems. I will be dead by the time a lot of these problems manifest at the end state. 01:16:56 Speaker 7: Ultimately, the biggest problem facing America, I think, is what the founders would say. It's a moral one, which is, are people willing to sacrifice, give up anything for the long-term future of this country? And a lot of people, they don't have kids, they don't have grandkids.
