And so Carl Marx writes basically this idea that there are people in charge of society and will call them the bourgeoisie. You know, one, two, three, go after the bourgeois is with a chant. That's not what they say on college campuses. They'll use swear words, right, And the rest of us are the proletariat, the everyday man, the worker. Now he came after this mostly through economic lens, that this was people owning the factories and people working in the factories and it's not fair. Now, this was basically him equipping the everyday rank and file with a playbook of how to criticize and how to attack any power structure. So fast forward an obscure writer from prison in Italy, many of you know him, Antonio Gramshet wrote this whole idea that we Marxists, we can't just have economic struggle revolution against the factory owners. We need to have cultural struggle. That what mark s laid out was a rebellion not just against the rich, but a rebellion against anybody in power, including God himself. So what Antonio Gramsci wrote in the letters from prison was that we need to mobilize the masses to go against anybody in charge. So then another obscure thinker by the name of Herbert Marcusa, the Frankfurt School, takes this idea, comes to America and comes up with what we now know is postmodernism. If you want to describe where wokeism is, what is the Wuhan Institute of virology of wokeism. It came from Herbert Marcusa and the Frankfurt School. In the nineteen fifties and sixties, he wrote a book called One Dimensional Man and he had colleagues of Michelle Foucaut and Jacques Derrida and disciples to this day by the name of Angela Davis and also Paulopierian James lindsay, you are a whole book called the Marxification of education. Here's where it comes to your faith. And this is what drives me nuts. When pastors say, Charlie, I don't do politics. Satan is using Marxism as a way to deconstruct God's natural order every single day. So some pastors and some churches say, but I don't like talking about these issues. The most fundamental and easiest example that we can give is another distinction, the distinction between a parent and a child. They do not believe in such distinctions. In Washington, at the age of twelve, when you go in for a doctor's visit, the parent is not allowed into the doctor's visit unless the child requests the parent to come in. They don't believe that there's any distinction between a parent or a child. In fact, they believe it to be an oppressive, tyrannical type relationship. So if you are to equip an entire generation, entire culture to ruthlessly criticize all that exists. Well, then what comes next? San Francisco comes next. There is no next. You know what the only thing is is all outright totalitarianism and tyranny. We have a unique moment when America was founded, where the many we're able to be in charge of the few. But yesterday I said, in the Ten Commandments, the only one of the ten commandments that mentions your nation to promise honor your mother and father, so that you may live long in the land to which you are in. So you're all pastors. So I'm gonna get a little geeky with the Hebrew for you, okay. So the word honor is the same word as heavy in the scriptures, the same word to treat heavily. The word curse in Hebrew is the same word as to treat lightly. So if you were to treat your parents lightly, you are to curse your parents. 00:10:47 Speaker 2: What is the last. 00:10:48 Speaker 1: Part of the Old Testament in the Book of Malachi talking about cursing your land? The last thing before Matthew begins is talking about cursing your land. What do we learn from maos China? What did we learn from Stalin's Russia? If they can destroy the bond between a parent and a child, that is the most that is the simplest, most proven way for totalitarian government to come in. And I'm telling you right now, you as pastors have a historic and biblical mandate to protect parental authority in America today. Never before have we seen the family so under attack from so many directions. And I will say what other pastors are afraid to say. They're trying to turn your kids gay and trans and groom them away from Christianity. And some people say, well, you know, Charlie, that that goes too far. Read their literature, Read their books. They talk about how they must go after children because they cannot reproduce, so they must recruit. If there is not an issue that could unite the American church. I mean, what's happening right now in Chino Valley and Jack the Great Jack Kibbs is fighting this and in Temecula, Oh my goodness, just a couple examples where the Attorney General of California is coming in and suing Chino Valley. You know why because Chino Valley right down the street from here the school board, which thankfully because of Jack Kibbs and the Chino Hills Calvary Chapel Church, they took over that school board. They have the radical idea, everybody radical, that if a child wants to transition, the parent gets a phone call, they're being investigated by the California Attorney General, ensued. 00:12:42 Speaker 2: For such a thing. 00:12:44 Speaker 1: Just for that and for the uninitiated, the non Christian audience, they're confused by this. Guess what, you don't get to be confused. You know exactly what's going on here. This is just another manifestation of the invisible war. Because if you can go after the children and destroy that bond, the family is the last line of defense of a free society. It's the only line of it's the ultimate line of defense. And the Church must stand up for this and for parental rights. It is a dominant ideology in the world today. One of those things you don't believe. See, I'm not a pastor, so I can say these things. So God and man, holy and profane, man and woman. So I got asked a great question. There is one issue that I think we can win on. One issue that is such a flagrant, such an awful, such a clear, just say insult to God's design. That's going after children and our culture. And it is the pagan state run religion of transgenderism. And I gave the speech at Awaken Church I see Sam here, and I talked about the fake religions, the fake pagan religions that are running America. And there's the Earth worshippers, there's the religion of tolerance, there's the religion of being nice, and the one that is honestly there's the fake religion of cult to scientists. And we could talk about all this if you want, But the one that really gets me is this gender delusion religion. You have on the White House two major trans flags and one American flag. You have an individual who suffers under the transgender lifestyle and he she takes off their clothes as a stripper at the White House. 00:15:38 Speaker 2: I mean this. 00:15:38 Speaker 1: The Center for Disease Control, as I mentioned yesterday, says that men who take lactating drugs can chest feed. This is in our textbooks, it's in our curriculum, and it is because of a silent church. If the church was forceful, and if the church was being sultan light, this thing would never have been able to get out of the gate. Let me say, well, charl' never heard of that before. Gender is a fake, made up word. It's a new age term. It's it's like your horoscope. And then we all of a sudden played into their hands. Do you notice they used to call it transsexual and now they call it transgender. Just like that, we allowed these guys to take over our language. So again, there are zero genders and there are two sexes. So if you see somebody in your church or they come to you, or they say, but Charlie, you know, this is my twenty two year old and you know he was the captain of the high school team that I sent him to Berkeley, and now she is not what he used to be. He wears a dress and all that their truth. That person is wearing a costume of womanhood, no different than a white person wearing blackface. You do not become the other race just because you wear a costume of the other race. You do not become a different thing just because you start dressing like the other thing. And if we even play into this an inch as Christians, we are surrendering that territory. 00:17:33 Speaker 2: To the enemy, even an inch. 00:17:36 Speaker 1: Now, somebody might say, but Charlie, shouldn't we love on these people. Yes, the best way to love them is to shock them with the truth, and to tell them what everybody else is afraid to tell them, is to say that you are not a man, or you are not a woman, So stop dressing and acting like one. You've obviously been traumatized, you've obviously been hurt. Will find you help to be able to talk about that and deal with that. But I I refuse as a pastor. By the way, there's over thirty to forty thousand D transitioners now in America and that list is growing. Just so we're clear, because of the silence of the church. Remember, silence itself is evil. Silence is consent. Ten years from now, there will be two hundred and fifty thousand young people regretting saying, where was my pastor warning me about this? Where was the local guy warning me about this? And they will be without breasts, with hysterectomies, unable to have children, unable to be able to get into meaningful relationships. That number is increasing like you wouldn't believe. There used to be two gender affirming care clinics in the West. There are now hundreds hundreds. The pharmaceutical companies look at your children and the children of your church, is nothing more than places to make money, to chop off their private parts and minister them irreversible pharmacological agents that we don't even use for rapists anymore. To then put them on a series of antidepressants, because then they're an annuity for the rest of their life. For one transurgery, a pharmaceutical company will make a million bucks a decade. We're talking about two hundred and fifty thousand of them that we know of coming in the next couple of years. But what we're learning from these detransitioners, one in particular, New Hampshire, a young lady. She comes up and she says, and this video has gone viral, and I'm going to do my best to paraphrase it. She says, I was a young girl and my parents got divorced and I started the sea videos and I thought I was trans and everyone around me was afraid to offend me. So they affirmed me, and they told me I am who I am, it's my truth. 00:21:12 Speaker 2: Be true to who you are. 00:21:13 Speaker 1: And not a single person told me that I might be dealing with something else other than go get a hysterectomy, go to Boston's children and get irreversible surgery. And she said, here, I now, at twenty six, I can never have kids. I missed puberty because I took puberty blockers. And she said, affirmation ruined my life. You as pastors have a moral and biblical obligation to not affirm evil. Almost every single distinction that we see that has been clearly set up in the Bible. The trans agenda goes after. And the other one is that it there is a fear by some churches and some pastors that there's going to be this massive walkout campaign of their church. And I gotta be honest, guys, I say offensive things for a living. It's pretty great. There are worse things than having somebody just walk out of your church. Revelation twenty one eight. The first people in the lake of fire, guys, are the cowards. I'm not saying that's any of you. I'm not even saying that's people you know but don't allow. I mean, one of my favorite pastors says Charlie. I'm doing everything I can to preach it down to a manageable size, and I just they just keep on coming. Don't grow your church too fast and borrow too much money. I've seen more churches go in the woke neutral direction and use the excuse that I have to pay the mortgage. I believe, And look, I grew up in the cubrst of Chicago. I saw the willow creacification of the American church. Okay, and I think Bill Hybels was a very gifted Bible teacher. It's too bad that whole thing. And so I passively went to that church and I saw the whole thing, and they came up with the model, pay down as little as you can, borrow as much money. And I'm not saying don't borrow money, guys, I'm not telling you how to run your church. What I'm saying, though, is that there is a theme between some of the weak churches in America, and it's because they're very worried that if they lose five percent of the people coming to their church, they're not gonna be able to pay the bank. They're not gonna be able to pay the note. 00:24:06 Speaker 2: So pray on them. 00:24:07 Speaker 1: Maybe if just one of you hear that message, then then it's worth saying. I just want to I want to just thank you guys for your attention throughout these last couple of days, and I hope it's been blessing you. So we're gonna put a slide up here. I don't I'm gonna tell you kind of the story here. So it's been a very eventful year at Turning Point USA. This is our third pastor summit. We ran out of space in Nashville. We ran out of space when we did this last year in Coronado, and honestly, we were debating, like do we do another one? And the first two were completely underwritten by a couple donors of ours. We said, honestly, let's try to get as much sponsors as we can, and all of a sudden we look it around. The response was unbelievable, So we decided to do it. And you know, these events are expensive to put on. I'm not asking you for money. If you're able to chip in anything at all, pray about it. But we decided to go into our general funds that we have for a rainy day fund because I said, nothing is more important than what we're doing than assembling pastors and strength in the church. And I'm glad we did, by the way, one of the most important things we did.
