Read Luke 17:11-19. How can we live a life that is truly thankful?
The healing of the leper in Luke 17 was extraordinary, but Dr. Michael Youssef reminds us that believers have received an even greater healing: forgiveness of sin and reconciliation with God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
In today’s episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Youssef shares four marks of a thankful life. We must recognize the depth of our greatest blessing, make thanksgiving a priority, offer it from the heart, and practice it consistently.
The healed leper returned to Jesus immediately and worshiped Him with intensity because he knew where his healing had come from. In the same way, remembering what Christ has done for us should produce heartfelt praise.
As we intentionally thank God in every season, gratitude becomes more than an occasional response—it becomes a faithful way of life.
Prayer: God, the greatest blessing I have ever and will ever receive is Your forgiveness. Thank You, Jesus. Help me to always give You the praise You are due. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
“Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!” (2 Corinthians 9:15).
