[00:00:20] Godly friends comfort us, encourage us, and keep us focused on God.
[00:00:25] Many of us are familiar with the story of Daniel, but we should not overlook what the
[00:00:30] Bible has to teach us through his friends.
[00:00:33] Daniel did not face his trials alone, but alongside Hananiah, Michel, and Azariah.
[00:00:42] They were able to strengthen each other in their faith while being surrounded by ungodly beliefs
[00:00:47] and customs.
[00:00:48] They faced their tests together, obeyed God together, and spent time together in unified
[00:00:54] prayer.
[00:00:55] How blessed we are when we find a friend who will stand with us against the evils of this
[00:01:01] world.
[00:01:01] How fortunate we are to have a friend who will support us as we stand up for our faith.
[00:01:08] Godly friendships are a social outlet and a support system for developing our faith.
[00:01:13] Godly friends will pray with us, worship with us, and seek God with us.
[00:01:19] Let's pray together.
[00:01:20] Father, we thank you for the friends that you have given to us.
[00:01:24] Help us to remember that we should be praying, worshiping, and seeking you alongside our friends.
