[00:00:08] Seeking His Power by Dr. Michael Youssef
[00:00:12] The Apostle Paul understood the daily power of God's grace as he experienced his great
[00:00:19] thorn.
[00:00:20] Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me, but he said to me, My grace
[00:00:26] is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
[00:00:30] Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power
[00:00:36] may rest on me.
[00:00:38] That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses and insults and hardships and persecutions
[00:00:44] and difficulties.
[00:00:45] For when I am weak, then I am strong."
[00:00:49] That's 2 Corinthians 12, 8-10.
[00:00:53] Not only is seeking the power of God pleasing to him, but it also enables us to do his work
[00:01:00] and live abundantly.
[00:01:02] We continually ask God to fulfill you with the knowledge of his will through all wisdom and
[00:01:07] understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may
[00:01:13] please him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,
[00:01:19] being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might, so that you will have
[00:01:25] great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father who has qualified you to
[00:01:31] share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.

[00:02:13] Mighty God, thank you for your power that's available to us personally.
[00:02:18] Help us to depend on your power today.
