[00:00:13] There are always consequences when God's people cease to honor Him and obey His Word.
[00:00:18] When the Israelites turn their backs on God, He removed His hand of protection from them.
[00:00:23] They became victims of the terrorist of their day, the Babylonians.
[00:00:27] Read HUBACIX description of the Babylonians.
[00:00:31] Ruthless and impetuous people who sweep across the whole earth, a feared and dreaded people
[00:00:37] Allah to themselves.
[00:00:40] Isn't that an app description of terror groups like ISIS and Hamas?
[00:00:45] If we, as God's people, distort God's truth in order to become friends with the world,
[00:00:51] don't we risk the same consequences?
[00:00:53] Exile is the destiny of every society or community that once new God
[00:00:58] and then turned its back on Him.
[00:01:01] That exile might take any number of forms, but it almost always includes terror
[00:01:05] from without and social decay from within.
[00:01:09] Examples of social decay include one, eroding respect for truth and wisdom.
[00:01:14] Our universities are no longer institutions of higher learning, but brainwashing factories.
[00:01:20] Students are not trained to be wise and learned, but are simply indoctrinated into the party line.
[00:01:27] Two, increasing corruption in government, our leaders are no longer answerable to we the people
[00:01:32] but to a wealthy click of oligarchs.
[00:01:36] Three, the course in the end of the culture.
[00:01:39] Volgarity, obscenity, violence, and racial hatred are rampant, not merely in the darkest corners
[00:01:44] of the internet, but throughout society.
[00:01:48] These problems can be solved and you and I are the solution.
[00:01:51] If we would return to the truth of God's word, if we would become the light of the world
[00:01:56] as the Lord has called us to be and then the light of God's truth shining through us
[00:02:01] would push back the darkness.
[00:02:04] Let's pray together.
[00:02:05] Lord have mercy on us and help us to lead our nation out of darkness.
[00:02:10] Work in our lives, Father, to grow our faith and to lead people to your truth.
[00:02:14] We pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
