[00:00:08] From Every Corner by Dr. Michael Yusef
[00:00:13] We all want peace.
[00:00:15] In fact, the ancient people of God in the Old Testament were longing for peace.
[00:00:20] They looked forward to the day when that peace would be established by God Himself, and Psalm
[00:00:25] 87 reveals their longing for the peace of God.
[00:00:29] The psalmist was looking forward to the day when believers from every corner of the globe
[00:00:34] will come together with love for God and for one another.
[00:00:39] In that day, the holy city will be founded on the Rock of Ages, the Lord Jesus Christ.
[00:00:45] Any ministry, any church, or any home that is not built on that foundation will crumble.
[00:00:51] Any foundation other than the Rock of Ages is sinking sand.
[00:00:56] People will come to God through Jesus Christ from every corner of the globe, from every
[00:01:01] tongue, from every nation, from the east and the west, from the north
[00:01:05] and the south, and from the ends of the earth.
[00:01:09] Our God is the God of the universe.
[00:01:12] Our God is a global God.
[00:01:14] Our God loves all people everywhere, equally.
[00:01:18] When our only focus is our little world and our little problems, we miss out on the great
[00:01:24] joy of fulfilling God's purpose for our lives.
[00:01:28] God's purpose was revealed before the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ in Bethlehem.
[00:01:33] People will come to know Him on an intimate basis through the Lord Jesus Christ, His Son,
[00:01:40] from every corner of the globe.
[00:01:42] Let's pray.
[00:01:43] Father, help us to remember that you are a global God and that you care about everyone,
[00:01:49] everywhere.
[00:01:51] We pray this in the name of Jesus.
