[00:00:00] You are listening to My Devotional, the Daily Devotional from Dr. Michael Youssef and Leading

[00:00:06] The Way.

[00:00:09] Dreaming means kneeling by Dr. Michael Youssef.

[00:00:14] Paul had a clear, God-given dream to preach the gospel where it had never been preached.

[00:00:19] His ultimate destination was the place that at the time was considered the edge of

[00:00:24] the world—Spain.

[00:00:27] Scripture doesn't say whether Paul made it or not.

[00:00:30] From God's perspective, it doesn't really matter.

[00:00:34] When it comes to your dreams, God isn't interested in the destination—the accomplishing of the

[00:00:39] dream—as much as He's interested in your faithfulness along the journey.

[00:00:45] Moses dreamed of stepping foot on the Promised Land after leading God's people out of

[00:00:49] Egypt and through the desert.

[00:00:52] But he died before entering Canaan.

[00:00:55] David dreamed of building a beautiful temple for God.

[00:00:58] Instead, he financed the project while the actual building was completed by his son Solomon.

[00:01:06] From God's perspective, these imperfect men succeeded because they faithfully sought

[00:01:11] His vision for their lives.

[00:01:13] Though they stumbled along the way, they trusted God, and there is no doubt that

[00:01:18] they received a greater blessing than they could ever have imagined.

[00:01:24] There is a desperate need today for God's people to endeavor to accomplish great things

[00:01:28] for Him.

[00:01:29] The only way to do this is to begin on your knees.

[00:01:34] But be prepared.

[00:01:35] As Paul said, Join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.

[00:01:41] For this journey is often agonizing, spiritually straining, and self-denying.

[00:01:47] Are you ready to fight for what God has placed in your heart?

[00:01:52] Let's pray together.

[00:01:54] Father, reveal to us your vision for our lives.

[00:01:58] May we be faithful to your calling to be holy as you are holy, as we pursue your purposes

[00:02:05] for our lives.

[00:02:07] We pray this in the name of Jesus.

[00:02:09] Amen.
