[00:00:30] On the other hand, these character traits can be manifested in you only by the Holy Spirit.
[00:00:36] He can fill you daily with His presence and power.
[00:00:39] It is in yielding ourselves to God readily admitting that in our own power we are not loving,
[00:00:45] not joyful, not at peace, not patient, not faithful, not kind, not good, not meek, not self-controlled
[00:00:53] that he fills us with the character likeness of Christ.
[00:00:57] When we cry out to Him for more of His presence and His help, His Spirit goes to work, transforming
[00:01:04] us into the image of Christ with ever increasing glory.
[00:01:09] To become more like Christ, we must become less bound to our own impulses and desires.
[00:01:14] How this happens is a great mystery of God, but it is undeniably true nonetheless.
[00:01:21] When we live by the power of the Spirit keeping in step with our best friend throughout
[00:01:25] our lives, we will naturally find fulfillment, abundant life and peace.
[00:01:31] Let's pray together.
[00:01:32] Lord, we know that in our own strength we cannot produce the fruit of the Spirit.
[00:01:38] Spirit fill us with Your power and Your presence so that we might become more and more
[00:01:43] like Christ.
[00:01:44] We pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
