[00:00:00] You are listening to MY Devotional, the Daily Devotional from Dr. Michael Youssef and Leading The Way. A Jonah-Sized Challenge by Dr. Michael Youssef After Jonah allowed God to use him we see the greatest miracle in the Book of Jonah, the salvation of the Ninevites.

[00:00:21] These cruel pagan people experienced one of the greatest revivals in biblical history. In Jonah chapter 3 verses 5 through 6 and verse 10, We're told how they responded to God's warning. The Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed and all of them from the greatest to the least put on sackcloth.

[00:00:43] When Jonah's warning reached the king of Ninevite he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust.

[00:00:54] In God's saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened. You may doubt your abilities or eloquence in sharing about Christ, you may hesitate to discuss faith with someone offensive or unlovable.

[00:01:14] But amazing things can happen when you allow the Holy Spirit to work through you. When we present the authentic gospel of Jesus Christ and live as genuine Christians, we can have more impact than we can imagine. Is God calling you to a Jonah-sized task today?

[00:01:33] He may not call you to preach to an entire town but perhaps you face your own hostile, Ninevite. Instead of running from what God is entrusting you seek his strength today to face the work he's called you to do. Let's pray together.

[00:01:50] Father, teach us to trust in you and your strength for the work you call us to do. We pray that your Spirit would fill us with courage to boldly proclaim your truth to those around us. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
