THE TRUTH WON’T BEND

Eleven people don’t allow themselves to be brutally murdered, nor one other survive three assassination attempts all protecting a lie.

There are several documented living memory accounts in historical non biblical Roman and Greek texts that speak to the facts about all twelve of these men, including one burned alive in oil who survived many years after, and one who outwitted three assassins, none of whom would deny the Resurrection.

Tacitus, Annals fifteen, chapter forty-four, written around one sixteen AD. Nero blamed Christians for the Great Fire of sixty-four and had them crucified, burned as torches, and torn apart by dogs. He calls Christianity a “deadly superstition” that originated in Judea under Pontius Pilate.

Josephus, Antiquities twenty, chapter nine, written around ninety-three AD. During the gap between procurators Festus and Albinus, the high priest Ananus assembled the Sanhedrin and had James, the brother of Jesus who was called Christ, stoned to death.

Josephus, Antiquities eighteen, chapter five, section two, written around ninety-three AD. Herod Antipas feared John The Baptist’d influence over the crowds might spark rebellion, so he had him imprisoned at Macherus and put to death there.
