Verse 29 "Immediately after the unprecedented distress, intense pressure, and refining fires of those specific days of tribulation—not before, but at the very climax of earth's final labor pains—the physical cosmos will react. The sun will suddenly be darkened into absolute obscurity, and the moon will fail to reflect its borrowed light. The stars will appear to fall from the vaulted sky, and the very laws governing the celestial spheres and cosmic powers will be violently shaken and destabilized.
Verse 30: Then, and only then, the undeniable, visible sign of the Son of Man will blaze across the darkened heavens. Because of this terrifying sight, all the tribes of the earth who aligned with the beast and rejected God will mourn and beat their breasts in agonizing realization of judgment. At that exact moment, the entire world will simultaneously see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven. He arrives not in secret, but in absolute, manifest majesty, cloaked in supreme power and radiant, blinding glory.
Verse 31 : With a resounding, earth-shaking blast of a great trumpet—the final trump that marks the end of the age will blast —He will send out His mighty angels. They will actively gather together His chosen, covenant people (the unified Church made of Jewish and Gentile believers) from the four winds. This gathering will sweep from one furthest horizon of the earth to the very other, rescuing the surviving saints who have faithfully endured until the end, catching them up to meet the descending King in the air."
