The Peleh: The Wonder and Miracle of Christ
Inspired by The Book of Mysteries by Jonathan Cahn
We often find ourselves sitting in awe, gazing at the wonder of God's love and His miraculous works. Today, I want to share with you a reflection inspired by the powerful concept of "Peleh"—a word that encapsulates the wonder, miracle, and greatness of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Peleh is a Hebrew word that means wonder, miracle, and too high, too hard, too great. It is used in Isaiah’s prophecy of the Messiah:
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful (Peleh), Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." — Isaiah 9:6
This name reveals the divine nature of Jesus—the Peleh, the Wonder, the Miracle. His impact on the world defies natural explanation. His birth was a miracle, His ministry was a miracle, His resurrection was a miracle. Every moment of His life was filled with divine wonder.
What does this tell us about salvation?
It tells us that salvation is above us—beyond our natural ability to attain. We cannot earn or achieve it by ourselves. But He can, because He is the Peleh.
He does what is impossible for us—He conquers death, grants forgiveness, and transforms lives. When Jesus is in us, the Peleh lives within us, empowering us to do the impossible and live a life full of miracles.
Never forget the wonder—the awe of His grace, His mercy, His love, and the miracle of salvation. Keep your eyes fixed on the wonder of Christ, and your life will be a reflection of His miraculous power.
As Acts 2:43 reminds us:
"And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles."
And in Ephesians 3:19, we learn to be rooted and grounded in His love:
"And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God."
Get back to the Peleh—the wonder of His love, the miracle of your salvation, and the power to do the impossible. Let His wonder be the focus of your life, and watch as miracles unfold around you.
Prayer:
Lord, let me always see You as the Peleh—the Wonder. Fill me with Your miraculous power, and help me to live a life that causes others to wonder at Your grace. Keep me in awe of Your love, and never let me lose the wonder of salvation. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scriptures:
Exodus 15:11
Isaiah 9:6
Acts 2:43
Ephesians 3:19
Remember:
The Peleh is not just a name—it's a revelation of who Jesus is and what He can do in your life. Keep the wonder alive, and live a miraculous life!
