Inspired by the Hebrew mysteries and divine revelation
Imagine standing on the flat rooftop of a school building, gazing out over a vast desert landscape. The horizon stretches infinitely, a reminder of the boundless creation and the mysteries beyond our sight. Today, the teacher gathers us to reflect on the profound plurality of God's divine names and their eternal truths.
The Mystery of the Plural Names of God
He speaks of Elohim—a word for God that is inherently plural.
Elohim signifies a God who transcends all things, beyond what we can fully comprehend or contain. It speaks of the infinite, the unending, the eternal.
He mentions Rachami—the mercy and compassion of God.
There is no limit to His love, no boundary to His mercy. His love is everlasting, overflowing beyond measure.
He talks about Shamayim, the heavens, which always hold more than we see.
There are two Jerusalems: Yerushalayim, the earthly city, and the New Jerusalem—the city of God that is yet to come, beyond our current sight but promised to us.
Is there a pattern?
Yes. All these divine names and mysteries share a common property: transcendence. They point us beyond the physical, beyond the seen, toward the eternal and the divine.
The Revelation of Life Everlasting
All these pluralities—Elohim, Shamayim, Yerushalayim—hold within them the secret of life everlasting.
Where will we dwell forever?
In Shamayim, in the New Jerusalem—a city filled with a river of living waters, flowing with the love and presence of God.
And what will fill this eternal city?
The face of God—His Panin—His divine presence that radiates love, mercy, and infinite glory.
The center of all things—the very core of heaven—is God’s everlasting love.
It is beyond our words, beyond our thoughts, beyond our praises. It is limitless, endless, from everlasting to everlasting.
The Heart of the Pluralities
All these divine mysteries and names—Elohim, Shamayim, Yerushalayim—are about that which is beyond.
They remind us that God is beyond all that we can speak of or imagine.
His love to us has no limits, no end, reaching from eternity to eternity.
The Mission:
Today, take time to meditate on where you will dwell forever.
Reflect on the everlasting and never-ending pluralities of God’s love, His kingdom, and His presence.
Let your heart dwell in the eternal, overflowing love of God, and be filled with the hope of what is yet to come.
Remember:
"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."— 1 Corinthians 2:9
Scriptures for Reflection:
1 Corinthians 2:9* — The things prepared for those who love Him are beyond our understanding.
Ephesians 3:20-21 — Now unto Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.
Revelation 22:1-5 — The river of life and the face of God filling the eternal city.
Hebrew Mysteries 1-4 — *The divine revelations of the plural names and mysteries of God.
Let your heart dwell today in the everlasting, overflowing love of God—the Beyond that encompasses all things, forever and ever.
