A Husband's Crown
An excellent wife is the crown of her husband, But she who shames him is like rottenness in his bones.
Proverbs 12:4
Solomon pulls no punches when it comes to the value of a wife to her husband. The wise king likens a wife to a crown, an image not often used in Scripture. A crown is a symbol of honor and renoen. How many husbands would have been lost in poor choices or moral quandaries without the wise words of a crowning partner!
